Michael Ingmire on the Midterm Aftermath: Never Give Up

The dishonest behavior of our American Media continues to irritate me. The truth seems to remain an actual deadly virus for most of our media. With rare exceptions the representatives of our media have been performing with diminishing returns since before 2008. Truly a Democrat State Reporting Unit. No balance and no heart.
Likewise, with some rare exceptions, our current government, our Injustice Department and its attached tentacles are not friends to our populous as a whole. Control and fear is their modus operandi. The unabashed arrogance of some of our Democrat pundits, in the wake of the midterms, truly reveals that many members of the Democrat Party embrace a heart of darkness, echoed infinitum, in 60 minute blips.
However, despite the relentless articulation of a red wave tragedy by our illustrious media, I see some interesting pockets of hope in what happened for conservative candidates in the 2022 midterms.
President Trump has been denigrated for his role in the midterms. Yet, according to Ballotpedia’s tracking, at www.ballotpedia.org, President Trump endorsed 257 Republican candidates that appeared on the midterm ballot. 215 won, per one recent count. That count may increase as some races are still being called. Trump has an excellent success rate with his endorsements in the 2022 primaries of 93% and a 85% success rate in the general election, so far.
The United States Senate is getting ready to make history with the win of Alabama Senator, Republican Katie Britt. Senator Britt is the first woman Senator to be elected from the State of Alabama. A huge story that the mainstream press ignored. I guess they were too busy guzzling overpriced Scotch, making insipid red trickle jokes, in-between trips to the bathroom.
Senator Britt is pro-life and was endorsed by President Trump. She is both a Mother and a Mama Lion with solid conservative principles that will greatly assist Alabama citizens. I congratulate her on her historic win.
The Four Horsewomen of the Clownpocalypse, AKA “The Squad”, were re-elected via some strange episode of the liberal Twilight Zone. Let me get this straight, you vote someone in office, they destroy your district and you re-elect them? The accuracy of those votes may end up smelling like Fulton’s Fish Market at the break of high noon. One can never tell.
The Squad serve one important purpose: They remind us how extreme politics can become in Washington. An important and distinct reminder. A reminder that even the most divisive dilettante can worm their way into higher office through money and redistricting.
The Squad, in their four part total, actually remind me of the character played by Andy Griffith in the Elia Kazan film,”A Face in the Crowd.”
In “A Face in the Crowd,” Griffith plays a down and out guitar player/singer named Larry “Lonesome” Rhodes temporarily detained in a Southern jail. He comes to the attention of a Producer of a small-market radio program in Northeast, Arkansas. The producer is played by Patricia Neal.
Rhodes, in a remarkably short time, becomes a national celebrity via the relatively new medium of television. His folksy humor, voice and guitar playing, captivate a mass audience. Yet, at heart, Rhodes is a mean, shallow and immoral man.
“A Face in the Crowd” is a classic film and a revealing look into the shallowness of fame in America. A shallowness that can be directly reflected in our current political structure, our media and in a large segment of our entertainment industry. Many reflections of fame that are not worth assessing when considering the vastly mediocre pool of talent that the entertainment industry and politics draw from. The Squad, in their self promoted glory, draw directly from that mediocre pool of shallow fame.
Many in American politics are mere recipients of a rather dark income stream in regards to the backing of their campaigns. Whether it is a compromised or incompetent candidate or a skewed voting machine these are all reasons to doubt the veracity of many of the results in the 2022 election. Avarice, greed and fraud remain distinct character defects within the Dems and Rhinos of D.C.
I cast no vote for a fool. I remain confident in my choices. But the rather shaky voting machine fiasco in Arizona, raises the hackles of my anger and awakens an active mistrust. Of course, I remember that the country is allegedly run by Biden and voting reformation seems like tomorrow’s bedtime story. But voting reform should be the main campaign theme of 2024, along with term limits and limited government spending.
The latest news from the Governor’s race in Arizona is that elected officials were threatened with arrest if they did not certify the election. I am encouraged that the Republican candidate for the Arizona Governor’s Chair, Kari Lake, refuses to concede. Look for lawsuits and this election being nullified. Elon Musk recently revealed that Twitter censored information that was harmful to Democrat candidates and helped to influence the outcome of elections. As usual the mockingbird media clowns are silent. It was not just Twitter that censored information but many other media outlets censor information detrimental to Democrat candidates.
The variances in the voting process of Arizona needs to be investigated by an independent counsel. We should not be singing the same weary tune in 2022 that we were merely starting to hum in 2020. We should be shouting and protesting, fervently. Eyes should remain open and people should remain vigilant. The machines failed and votes were denied in Arizona. A change needs to be instituted before the 2024 election.
Allegedly, newly counted Arizona votes were “harvested-in” with previously counted. That is unacceptable. As I have stated and have written before, we need an enforced Voter ID Law. If I am asked for identification, for a myriad of intelligent reasons, I have no problem with appropriately complying. Using the excuse that people are incapable of getting a voter ID is just insulting. There is nothing racist about showing a ID card.
The Arizona Governor race was plagued with voting machine irregularities and unverified ballots and was certified by none other than the alleged winner Katie Hobbs. Katie Hobbs has shown by her actions that she has no shame. However, despite the certification of the election the people continue to speak out and Kari Lake’s lawsuit continues. Hobbs seems to be the 2023 standard for the Democrat Party these days; Incompetent, immoral and, perhaps, criminal. Note on the date of submission for this article it is being reported that Herschel Walker lost the Senate Run-Off race to the incumbent Senator Warnock. Looks like the devil has indeed gone down to Georgia with a divided Congress.
Seeing what happened in Arizona should be enough proof that we need to reform the voting process. More than 25% of the Arizona vote may have been compromised due to “technical difficulties.”
The people of Arizona should rise up and demand a new election. When thieves are obvious, by law, incarceration should follow. Or in this case, perhaps an election?
I voted for conservatives because I remembered the mask mandates, the closing of businesses during the pandemic, the use of Government offices to perpetuate fear, and the tyranny of a Mussolini-in-training bully that is Joe Biden. Who could possibly forget about the failed foreign policy and our open Southern border chaos? Why would any President shutdown America’s energy production coming out of a pandemic that crippled the world unless they were insane or a traitor?
The Media try to diminish the wins of all candidates endorsed by President Trump. Almost all the candidates running on the MAGA platform won. I remain hopeful considering other Senate and Gubernatorial elections. Florida, indeed, had a red wave. Do you know why? Fair voting practices, clean voter rolls, no drop boxes and voting ID laws. DeSantis won over 60% of the vote, because it was, I repeat, fair. North Carolina, mostly the same. Georgia and Texas were spot on with their choices of Governors. Republican Incumbent South Dakota Governor, Kristi Noem, won reelection handily.
The spark that was created in 2022 needs to burst into a living flame. Every political candidate needs to be receiving some strong phone calls from all American citizens . Anyone that we voted for, we should call their offices and demand an immediate change in our voting process.
Same day voting, no drop boxes, clean ALL voter rolls. If it takes paper ballots, so be it. To reiterate, it is time to seriously consider a real and enforceable voter ID law. Our freedom is truly at stake. We have the technology to ensure fair and honest elections in America. We need the will of the people in power to institute the appropriate policies to make sure people’s votes count.
I love this Country. I cherish my right to vote. The sanctity of our vote should never be taken for granted. Remember Lincoln, remember Havel, remember those who sacrificed their freedom and, at times, their lives for our liberties. It’s essential that we defend our constitutional rights and freedoms. We must remember what George Washington said: “If freedom of Speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep, to the slaughter.”
Consider the cherished dreams of our children when we protect the sanctity of future elections. More than a struggle of Republican versus Democrat, this is a battle of good versus evil. Time to wear the full Armor of God, time to get serious. Democrats hate our constitution because it clearly states that our rights come from God, not big government. Democrats think they are Demigods and we are all their slaves. They are wrong and they have awakened warriors for Christ that will never back down. As I was recently reminded from a dear friend, we must NEVER GIVE UP!
