Michael Ingmire: In Consideration of the Midterms
As important as voting is to our Republic, there is a procedural process that we may all consider. Namely, we need to vote, in-person, on Election Day. Unless you are suffering from an insurmountable infirmity or a member of the active duty Armed Services, you may wish to avoid the use of a mail-in ballot. Likewise, early voting may give those who wish to commit election fraud yet another opportunity to manufacture votes.
I wrote in the July 2020 Politichicks article, Eyes Wide Open: The 2020 Vote, about how I received mail-in ballots in my deceased Mother’s name and in the name of a fictitious relative, Jose Ingmire. I received several unsolicited-by-me mail-in ballots in both their names. During the summer of 2020, I contacted city and state election officials who were, at best, lackadaisical in their response to my concerns.
We need to treat our vote almost like our own precious blood. We need to take full responsibility to make sure that our votes are counted appropriately. My thinking is that if the majority of Americans vote on Election Day, it may help throw a cog in the election fraud process, both in 2022 and 2024. We must remain vigilant against the current socialist tyranny disguised as government and protect our vote. Equally important in the process of voting is to know fully who and what you are voting for. The problem with the 2020 election was that it was a cult of personality. Namely, many people voted for Biden because they did not like President Trump’s personality. That was a tragic mistake and we all are paying the price for it, with the increases in the price of gas, food and in the cost of services.
The platform of the current Democrat Party is broad in its breath and scope. They believe in open borders without any element of control. They attack anyone that disagrees with their Socialist agenda. They seek to silence our First and Second Amendment rights. They wish to control our movements. They wish to control our bank accounts, eliminating the American dollar and replacing it with a Digital Currency. The Democrat’s New Green Deal is a costly and duplicitous communist agenda to control all the earth’s abundant natural resources and everything people are to do and think.
If you believe the Democrat’s platform, you would think that the legalization of abortion is the most important issue facing Americans today. This demonstrates a lack of imagination and a lack of morals inherent in today’s Democrat Party. I pray that people take responsibility for their actions and do not use abortion as just another form of birth control. I will not dismiss or denigrate any woman that seeks an abortion, but I will pray for them. This life changing decision is between the woman and our Creator. Personally, I follow the Commandment, “Thou Shall not kill”, and I believe that life begins at the time of conception.
The lack of concern for innocent life and our well being is directly communicated by “leaders” such as Biden, Obama, and Pelosi, among others. Truly their actions speak louder than their words. When I hear these Democrats speak it is with a language that identifies them as divisive dilettantes. Everything Democrats promote is based on identity politics. Their agenda is to divide and conquer. They are only concerned about the people who buy their votes and how much they can make while holding office. They abuse their power and if they cannot dig up dirt on a political opponent they will manufacture it. This is typified by the January 6th Committee. This committee is President Trump’s third impeachment trial. Pelosi had her filmmaker daughter, Alexandra, there that day to document her latest smear campaign against President Trump.
The Democrat Party has become a party of liars and warmongers. What is happening in Ukraine is a direct result of the illegal regime change in Ukraine in 2014 headed up by the Obama/Biden administration. Now Biden may very well be pushing our country to the brink of nuclear war with Russia through his sheer incompetence and a desire to deflect from his own criminal activities in Ukraine. From the information coming out from Hunter’s laptop we also found out that the Biden family has financial ties to Communist China. China, who manufactures the Fentanyl that is killing Americans in alarming numbers. Communist China, who allegedly created the Coronavirus in their labs. If Joe Biden had an active moral compass he would investigate the origins of this latest designer bug. He would investigate what is happening in the bioweapons labs located in many countries. He would drop all ties to Communist China.
But I am not holding my breath waiting for that to happen. And many members of today’s Republican Party are no better than their colleagues across the aisle.
Yesterday’s Republican Party demonstrated an active moral compass. They were the Party that pushed through the ratification of the Constitution so that women would have the right to vote. The GOP used to be the Party that fought for the 1957 and 1964 Civil Rights Acts. Now most Republicans have demonstrated a high degree of moral cowardice. Their response to the fraudulent 2020 election is a case in point. Our former Vice President, Mike Pence, may very well be the biggest Republican coward in our recent political history. He will never receive another vote from me. House Minority Leader, Kevin McCarthy, is also weak and inconsequential. The next Republican House needs a strong leader, like Congressman Jim Jordan.
It is time for the Republican Party to stand up and build upon our shared history. If they achieve a majority in the House and Senate; It will be time to impeach Joe Biden for his criminal behavior and his dereliction of duty to defend our national security and sovereignty. Rhetoric is not reality. It is time to establish an atmosphere of accountability. Action is needed to bring our country back from the brink of destruction.
