Emery McClendon: Will Our Great Divide Condemn Our Nation?

PolitiChicks.comWe have been divided. The MSM and others who dislike the reality of the American Dream has polerized our nation. Can we ever put Humpty back together again?
Can a nation that is so split along cultural, religious, economic, and political lines come together again and coexist?  Can we all ever agree to work in unison once again for the betterment of all?
I am optimistic and skeptical about our changes to reunite because of our vast differences. Each side is entrenched in their beliefs, and are ready to battle each other over their world view. One side wants to take us where there has been nothing but failures to show as a result of their policies having been implemented.  I speak of Socialism, which always ends up as Communism. The other side has produced the greatest nation and prosperity on earth, and is fighting to maintain our Founding Principles.
How can we coexist with such a divide in our philosophical views?  We are divided on Abortion, our Flag and National Monuments, immigration, and on a host of other topics.
Can we come together and really work together to keep America Great, or will we go down in the ash heaps of history as a nation because of our irreconcilable diferences?
One thing that I am sure of is this: God heals and restores. He can mend broken and torn relationships, even on the national level. If we expect to heal our land we must rely on God to first heal our souls.
Your thoughts.
