Why Are Leftists in Hollywood the Only Ones Using Blackface?

Top left, TV’s ‘Scrubs’ and ’30 Rock’, Bottom left, Jimmy Kimmell and Judy Garland (who was a lifelong Democrat)

Over the years we’ve had to endure the Hollywood leftists pontificate on a myriad of subjects and issues ad nauseam, especially at their narcissistic awards shows. They try and make themselves feel better by wearing their little pins for this cause or that cause. They film videos of themselves crying over the plight of people not like them yet they rarely go beyond talk to action (but of course they have no problem telling YOU to take action). In essence they are chanting “Look at how good we are! We care!”. One of the issues they love to talk about is race. They never fail to accuse every Republican President of being a racist along with his supporters. Does the phrase “basket of deplorables” ring a bell?

But you know it’s the craziest thing. We are quickly finding out that these same folks are guilty of the racism and bigotry they accuse others of. Who would have thought?? I mean just because they rarely give Oscar awards to blacks is no reason to think they might be prejudiced. Nooooo. Don’t let that little thought enter your head. These people CARE darn it!

In the last few weeks we’ve discovered that the liberals in Hollywood have an obsession with doing blackface. I must admit I don’t watch much modern television shows mainly because their full of crap. So I was a bit surprised at the quantity of it. And I am sure there’s more to come. Here are some of the ones we know about so far:

Scrubs: “Hulu has deleted three episodes of the long running medical comedy show Scrubs, because they contain characters dressed in blackface. The now deleted episodes include Season 3’s “My Friend the Doctor,” and Season 5 episodes “My Jiggly Ball” and “My Chopped Liver.” The episodes featured actors Zach Braff, Donald Faison, (who is black) and Sarah Chalke donning blackface for segments of the show. The service removed the episodes at the behest the series producers, ABC Studios.”

Only three? C’mon, you can’t call that racism! And one of the actors was already black. Golly.

30 Rock: “NBCUniversal is removing four 30 Rock episodes that feature characters in blackface from streaming services and syndication. The episodes will also vanish from iTunes and Google Play and other platforms.

‘As we strive to do the work and do better in regards to race in America, we believe that these episodes featuring actors in race-changing makeup are best taken out of circulation,’ said 30 Rock executive producer and Trump-basher Tina Fey in a statement. The episodes have been pulled after a request from the show’s executive producers Fey and Robert Carlock, according to a report by Vulture.

Wow they had four! Take that Scrubs!

Tina Fey thinks “they are best taken out of circulation”. How nice and thoughtful. I’m sure it brings a tear of joy to minorities to hear such a strong worded repudiation of bigotry.

The Office”: “The Wrap reports that a Season 9 episode of “The Office,” titled “Dwight’s Christmas,” has been edited to remove a scene where a character engages in blackface. The old version of the episode has been removed from Netflix and will not appear on Peacock when the series moves to NBCUniversal’s streaming service next year. The old version of the episode will be replaced with the updated version for syndication airings, according to the publication.

“‘The Office’ is about a group of people trying to work together with mutual respect despite the inappropriate actions of their boss and assistant manager,” series creator Greg Daniels said in a statement to The Wrap. “The show employed satire to expose unacceptable behavior and deliver a message of inclusion. Today we cut a shot of an actor wearing blackface that was used to criticize a specific racist European practice. Blackface is unacceptable and making the point so graphically is hurtful and wrong. I am sorry for the pain that caused.”

So how many years ago did this episode air? Was Blackface acceptable then, Mr. Daniels? Were you sorry for the pain it caused back then? Or are you just trying to get ahead of the negative backlash because you’ve been exposed as a racist? (If you think my comments are harsh, keep in mind the accusations of racism the Hollywood Left makes against Trump/Republicans/Conservatives constantly. It’s about time these folks get a feel for what that is like).

Then there’s Jimmy Kimmel, who is a real piece of work. In apologizing for his own blackface sketches he attacked his critics:

In the late 90s, I continued impersonating Malone on TV. We hired makeup artists to make me look as much like Karl Malone as possible. I never considered that this might be seen as anything other than an imitation of a fellow human being, one that had no more to do with Karl’s skin color than it did his bulging muscles and bald head. I’ve done dozens of impressions of famous people, including Snoop Dogg, Oprah, Eminem, Dick Vitale, Rosie, and many others. In each case, I thought of them as impersonations of celebrities and nothing more. Looking back, many of these sketches are embarrassing, and it is frustrating that these thoughtless moments have become a weapon used by some to diminish my criticisms of social and other injustices.

I won’t be bullied into silence by those who feign outrage to advance their oppressive and genuinely racist agendas.

Is that why you’re going on hiatus for 3 months? Just asking.

Can you believe the arrogance of this man. Fame has definitely gone to his head. Even if Trump (and his supporters) were all those things you constantly accuse them of, you would still be worse. Kimmel’s climb to fame was one of racism and gross misogyny. He is a disgusting human being.

In addition to blackface the left has other racist attitudes that are being demonstrated. How about Pelosi and Schumer donning African garb to show solidarity over George Floyd’s death.

Many Black activists and cultural leaders are critical of the gesture, remarking that the wearing of kente cloth by white leaders was action that was more symbolic than meaningful. It also risks promoting empty “virtue signaling” – the practice of individuals outwardly acting in a way that endeavors to demonstrate their sense of moral connectedness on an issue.”

The Democrats virtue signaling? Why that never occurs. Except 24/7 365. Where would these folks be if they couldn’t do stunts like this to prove how much they feel compassion about the black community. Don’t you dare look at cities run by Democrats that are hell holes for minorities (most of the riots are in those cities). Or that during the 8 years of the Obama presidency nothing was done to improve their lives. Trump was right in asking for their support and saying “what have you got to lose”? The well kept secret is that Trump has made inroads in that and the Hispanic communities. That’s why the left attacks him so hard.

Just like the #MeToo movement, the left screams about systemic racism but when reality comes a calling, it is THEM who have bigotry hiding in their closet (or in this case on their entertainment reels).

Lastly, this is not a new phenomenon in Hollywood. Blackface has been prevalent in that industry since it started. Al Jolson sure made a career off of it. And look at the featured picture at the top. The black and white picture on the bottom right is none other than Judy Garland in blackface from the 1938 movie “Everybody Sing”. That is a disturbing image.

Dorothy was right – we’re not in Kansas anymore.
