The Left’s Nauseating Virtue Signaling
PSA: We Care! (Lol!!)

Folks, it’s been a hard 3-4 months for the Hollywood Left. Impeachment failed followed by the Corona Virus. They were locked down in their mansions without being able to go to work and be fawned over by their public. It’s been rough, bless their little hearts. They MUST have love and adoration! So they decided to make a PSA to virtue signal their solidarity with the common black folks that they’ve never met or even come close to identifying with.
Those who appear in the PSA include Sarah Paulson, Julianne Moore, Justin Theroux, Stanley Tucci, Aaron Paul, Kristen Bell, Mark Duplass, Bryce Dallas Howard, Debra Messing, Ilana Glazer, Kesha, Bethany Joy Lenz, Piper Perabo and others. The website ITakeResponsibility.org will host the campaign, created by Tommy Oliver and Adam Platzner of Confluential Content in partnership with the NAACP.
Here is what the Celebrities had to say (with some helpful commentary):
I take responsibility
I take responsibility
I take responsibility
YAWN
I take responsibility for every unchecked moment
Oh, look out! Something different!
For everytime it was easier to ignore than to call it out for what it was.
Every not so funny joke…every unfair stereotype
Every blatant injustice no matter how big or small
Everytime I remained silent
Wait, what? When have leftists EVER remained silent? About anything!
Everytime I explained away police brutality or turned a blind eye.
What we see here is that the Hollywood Left has a bigotry problem. I wonder if these statements apply to those of us who have a different view than they do (i.e. conservatives or Christians). HA!
I take responsibility. Black people are being slaughtered in the streets. Killed in their own homes. These are our brothers and sisters.
Our friends, our family. We are done watching them die. We are no longer bystanders. We will not be idle. Enough is enough.
Yes I am sure these folks have their black folks over for tea and crumpets all the time.
I will no longer allow an unchecked moment. I will no longer allow racist, hurtful words, jokes, stereotypes, no matter how big or small, to be uttered in my presence
I can honestly say I don’t have any friends or family who would ever say or allow those things. It is telling that apparently they do.
I will not turn a blank eye. Going for a jog should not be a death sentence. Sleeping in your own home should not be a death sentence.
A “blank eye”? Sounds like a pirate. “Errr I’ve me a blank eye”. Out of curiosity I looked up the definition of the term: “A blank eye is one which seems dead to the light of the world”. Bingo. If that doesn’t succinctly describe these folks I don’t know what does.
Playing video games with your nephew should not be a death sentence.
Did I miss something? Who got killed while playing a video game?
Shopping in a store should not be a death sentence. Business as usual should not be life threatening.
Unless of course you walk into a store during the corona virus without a mask on.
I stand against hate.
I stand against hate.
I will stand against hate in love. I will make my presence known.
GROAN. We need much less of yall’s presence known. None would be lovely. Just shut up and go away!
And killer cops must be prosecuted, they are murderers. We can turn the tide. It is time to take responsibility. Call out hate. Step up and take action.
Ok! Here we go! They are going to tell us what actions to take in following their lead.
Oh, wait. That was the end? Seriously??
I think what we’ve just witnessed is an anti-climax.
Notice there is no offer of tangible financial help or even a willingness to march in peaceful protests. These people are phonies.
But I am sure these celebrities feel much better now that they’ve virtue signaled us to boredom. They care! They took time out of their busy schedule to film videos of themselves in their rich homes guarded by walls and privately hired protection. I’m sure non-Caucasian people feel secure and happy now and will sleep well tonight.
The utter arrogance of these folks is astounding. I’m happy and content knowing that I haven’t seen any of their work. And I take FULL responsibility for it.
