Emery McClendon: The Left Continues Trying to Divide and Conquer

Lately we keep hearing about how racist President Trump is from the media, Democrats, and a host of others, including prominent Black organizations. It is very important that those of us that know better answer these critics with the truth because the facts are on our side. Those facts refute the allegations, and put the accusing parties to shame.

It is important for each of us to compare President Trump’s record against his actions and polices from both the present, and the past to determine if calling him a racist is merited or not.
It seems like those who appose him just want to throw that allegation out there to cause people to partake in their bias and hatred of him.
Black Americans recently polled have stated that racism has increased under President Trump. They fail to state that much of it is due to the constant news stories, and ranting by the media. But those that accuse him of racism have not provided one shred of evidence to prove their point. They only use the racist label to divide us.
They also fail to take into account that while it is true that pockets of racism do exist in America, it would be very difficult to blame that racism on one man who happens to be the President of United States. People harbour their own feeling inside, and while the media and others may try to set the tone, people react to how they view life, and most folks don’t go around bragging about being racist.
Racism has left an ugly scar on America because of slavery, post slavery, the Civil Rights Movement, and from it’s recent revival during the Obama Era. Again, none of those periods have anything to do with Donal Trump.
Donald Trump started off his campaign by asking Black communities Nationwide, “What have you got to lose?” This statement was a reference to persuading them to give him an opportunity to work with Black’s, and to prove himself a friend to every American citizen.
He has done that during his first three years in office with Criminal Justice Reform, Employment, lower taxes, and many other policies. He has held numerous meeting with Black leaders and asked for their input. Many have responded. Including myself.
This article is not intended to be an expose of facts and figures to prove a point. I leave it up to the reader to do your own fair and unbiased research.
What we do intend to point out however, is that it is very difficult for any person to prove accusations that our current President is the racist that the media, the Democrats, and Hollywood says that he is.
His speeches, actions, policies, and minority outreach proves otherwise.
There seems to be a valid reason why those that oppose President Trump want these racist allegations to stick to him.
They see his favorable poll numbers, what he is doing to keep the American economy strong, our country secure, and on the right path.
They dislike his policies because they want to push our country in the opposite direction. They want to usher in Socialism and control our lives. An easy way to accomplish their goals is to divide us.
Racism is being used to divide our country, and the Democrats are attempting to make Black communities their “Useful Idiots” to separate the country, and to destroy a good man.
The Democratic Party, and others are responsible for fanning the flames of racism, and ordinary American people should reject their plan.
We have come a long ways in America toward unity. We are being set back on purpose by a few bad people who have demonstrated that they have “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Those few folks want to overturn the will of the American people, and cancel out our votes.
We must stand up and proudly proclaim the truth to our fellow Americans.
The truth of the matter is that there is no proof that Donald Trump is guilty as charged of racism. The preponderance of the evidence says so.
