Emery McClendon: How Big Is Your Dream For America?

PolitiChicks.comWe need to take a good cold hard look at the state of America, and the direction that we would like for our country to go as we move forward.
We must consider a few things as we look at the State Of Our Union. The lack of morality, the overt disrespect of life, liberty, and the Rule of Law, and the current division among our citizens.

After doing so, we must  make a decision about what kind of  leadership we want over our country over the course of the next four years, and beyond.
Our biggest factor in helping us decide should be Almighty God. For we know that righteousness exhalts a nation, and Godliness is a golden virtue for any people, but sin and corruption destroys.
If we expect to be prosperous into the future, and continue to be a world leader, we must conduct ourselves accordingly.
America is not perfect, and neither are we as a people. We all fall short in some way. However, we must strive for excellence, and try to be the best that we can be. We must set our sights on the highest standards that we can achieve, and work hard to bring them to pass.
We must rely on God to lead, guide, and protect us. We must make sure that those whom we choose to lead us are good and moral people,  and are held accountable for their actions.
We have dropped the ball over the past 60 plus years. It’s time to pick it up and run like winners to the goal post.
Elections have consequences.  Evil leaders promote corruption, dependency, and unjust laws. Evil leaders promote power for themselves, and suppress individual responsibility and pride.
There is light at the end of the tunnel, and we can enter into it’s brilliance if we do the right thing.

We cannot blame anyone except ourselves for the choices that we have on the ballot this next election. We have turned our nation over to corrupt public servants.

This must change.

We have to choice the people that have proven that they want to restore our nation back to greatness, and elect people who respect our Founding Principles, if we wish to succeed.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

We can see the choices set before us clearly in 2020.

Those that want to help keep us on tract may not suit your every fancy, but they have demonstrated a love for our country, and have implemented policies that have keep us from going down the road to a total Socialist takeover. Our President is one such person. We must pray for him, and reelect him in 2020.
We know where the Democrats want to take us. They want to tax us to death, open our boarders, spend us out of existence, give unproductive people freebies at the expense of hard working Americans, destroy our national security, our military, schools, Law Enforcement; and divide us against one another.

No good and perfect thing comes in one installment, except for the Kingdom of God.

We have not come to that point yet. So, let’s work here in this present environment to make our lives better, our country better; and work for a better world.
We will be thankful for having done so, and our future generations will be also.
This is what our Founders envisioned for us, and each generation to follow. This is what we yearn for.
We seek the pursuit of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of  Happiness. We seek also the peace of God.
That is the American dream. Let’s begin to dream big!
