Barry Shaw: The “Impeach Trump” Derangement Could Lead to Something Much Worse

Nancy Pelosi, December 1998: “The Republicans in the House are paralyzed with hatred of President Clinton and until Republicans will free themselves of this hatred our country will suffer.”

Nancy Pelosi, September 2019, after Democrats had conducted a three-year paralyzation of hatred for President Trump, announced, “The House of Representatives will move forward with an official impeachment inquiry. The President must be held accountable. No one is above the law.”

Jerry Nadler, December 1998: “The impeachment of a president is an undoing of a national election. They are telling us that our votes don’t count.”

Jerry Nadler, September 2019, after a three-year witch-hunt of President Trump: “I think the president ought to be impeached.”

What changed? The presidential political colors changed. It went from a Democratic president to a Republican president turning the same leading Democrats into political hypocrites.

Other Democrats chimed in. Ilhan Omar and Hillary Clinton both chirped “Nobody is above the law.” 

Let that sink in. Ilhan Omar facing further charges to Congress to investigate her immigration, multiple marriage, student loan and tax frauds and perjury, and HC of the smashing phones, laptops, bleach-bit hard drives and deleting 32,000 yoga emails, Clinton Foundation reputation, are telling us that nobody is above the law. Democratic hypocrites!

So the story goes like this. A whistleblower said he knew of the President’s phone call with the Ukraine president. “Impeach!”

“Did he actually listen in on the call?”

“Doesn’t matter. Impeach!”

“But he didn’t even get his information second hand. It was third hand at best!”

“No matter. Impeach!”

“Who is calling for impeachment?”

“Nancy Pelosi.”

“Do you mean the Nancy Pelosi of 1998, or the Nancy Pelosi of 2019?”

“Doesn’t matter. Impeach!”

“But there was no Quid Pro Quo in Trump’s call to the Ukraine.”

Doesn’t matter. Impeach!”

“But there was an absolute Quid Pro Quo to Vice President Biden’s threatening call to Ukraine! He was trying to get the prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, fired before he could investigate his son’s connection to the corrupt Burisma Group in which his son, Hunter, got $3 million.”

“Doesn’t matter. Impeach Trump.”

“But Hunter Biden does know a thing about the Ukraine, gas or oil. How come he flies there with his dad and walks away with a deal that earned him $3 million.”

“Doesn’t matter. Impeach Trump!”

“What about Biden’s son flying with him on Air Force One to China and flying back with a contract from the Bank of China worth one billion dollars. What was all that about?”

“Rumors.”

“Yeh! A billion-dollar rumor. Actually, it turned into a 1.5-billion-dollar rumor. Can’t you see a pattern here? Then there’s Biden bragging at the Council of Foreign Relations about how he got Shokin fired just before he began investigating his son. Don’t you find that strange?”

“It’s a distraction. Impeach Trump!”

“Adam Schiff said that it sounded like ‘a mafia-type shakedown.’Was he talking about Biden?”

“No. He meant Trump.”

“You have me confused. When the President is pushing Ukraine for transparency about corruption I would have though you would welcome that.”

“We do, but after we’ve impeached Trump.”

“Alexandria Ocasio Cortez went on CNN and said, ‘What we are talking about here is essentially extortion and withholding aid to an ally and then quote unquote asking for a favor.’ Did she mean Biden threatening the Ukrainian president?”

“No, of course not. She meant Trump.”

“But AOC hadn’t heard Trump’s transcript at that time.”

“No matter. Impeach Trump!”

“But the current President of Ukraine just told the world that his conversation with Trump was good and normal, and nobody pushed him.”

“Doesn’t matter. Impeach Trump!”

“I don’t understand. When Democrats were pressing Ukraine to get Russian dirt on candidate Trump it was the greatest news ever, but when Trump asked the new President of Ukraine to look into and clean up corruption in his country, its 2020 election meddling?”

“Yes. Trump must be impeached.”

“But Trump was talking with the Ukrainian President about CrowdStrike, the cyber security company that was operating with the Russians into hacking the DNC server in 2016. So here is Trump trying to get to the bottom of Russian and Ukrainian meddling into the American election, and the corruption of our 2016 election, you want to impeach him?”

“Exactly! Impeach Trump!”

There is a serious warning to my words.

When the impeachment efforts fail, what comes next?

Behind the Democratic inflammatory rhetoric there are consequences. Let’s remind ourselves.

Maxine Waters; “God is on our wide. If you see a member of the Trump Cabinet, Push Back! If you see anybody in a store, a restaurant, at a gas station, you get out, create a crows, and push back on them, and tell them they’re not welcome.”

Then she said, “The people are going to turn on them. They are going to absolutely harass them until they tell the president, ‘No. I can’t hang with you!’”

Maxine Waters was telling the crowd; the president has to hang alone.

MSNBC was thrilled to have her in their studio. On 4 March, 2017, the beaming female anchor gushed, “You are the embodiment of the resistance to Donald Trump.”

This is how empowered Democrats became the role model for the resultant violence. Have any of them, Democratic congress people or mainstream media, called out ANTIFA for being the violent thugs they are?

They say Antifa is anti-fascist. In truth, Antifa are the real fascists, closing down Conservative voices with violence. They are Democrat-voting fascists and anarchists.  They take the law violently into their own hands to defend what they think is right. They are Maxine Waters’ foot soldiers.

And what other voices are they hearing? Who is lighting the fire for those who would take the law into their own hands?

Madonna, at a massed women’s rally in DC: “Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought about blowing up the White House!”

Robert de Nero, about the president; “He’s a dog. He’s a punk. He’s a pig. …Well, I’d like to punch him in the face.”

Johnny Depp hinted to a huge crowd, “When was the last time an actor assassinated a president.”

Assassinated a president!

Let me tell you. Let me warn you. The last time I witnessed such a toxic political environment like this was in Israel, just before the assassination of an Israeli leader.

He was killed by an anonymous young man with a handgun who had been carried away by the political rhetoric that, in his indoctrinated mind, turned a peacemaker into a monster deserving to be shot.

This is precisely what is happening today in America. They are turning a successful president, working tirelessly for his people, into a monster that deserves to be assassinated.

There was the near-fatal shooting of Republican Steve Scalise. There was the brain-damaging attack on conservative blogger, Andy Ngo. There have been acid attacks and confrontations.  Where is this leading as America heads to an election in which the nation’s leader appears to be heading for a second victory?

When fair means and foul fail, even fouler methods are employed, because in the poisoned atmosphere any means justifies the end. That is the deranged thinking of those who must get their way.

Democrats! This is where your three years of resist Trump hatred is leading you. There will be deranged people who will take your rhetoric as a call to “justifiable”action.

The person that pulls that trigger will claim the toxic atmosphere that you created for their justification.

Stop now, before you have serious blood on your hands.
