Does anyone–regardless of race, creed, or day of the week–want a doctor whose admission scores were ignored in the process of entry into medicine? Or do they want the best doctor with the best scores when it’s time to enter that shiny little operating room for open-heart surgery?
Common sense tells us that diversity has zero to do with what is best for the future of science.
