Left’s Hypocrisy on Full Display Over Bomb Threats
Over the last several days, suspicious packages have been sent to many on the left containing possible explosive bombs. So far those include the Clinton’s, Obama, Joe Biden, CNN and Robert De Niro (???). And of course the left is in full-fledged blame Trump mode, accusing his rhetoric of inciting this type of violence. They are now even referring to them as Trump’s targets. Or some semblance thereof. This is not surprising because this is what the left always do – accuse others of what they themselves do. After all, who has been ratcheting up the talk the last few months? Trump may say some things in jest but it is the left who has been stoking the flames. A couple of examples:
Hillary Clinton: “You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about. That’s why I believe if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and/or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again.”
Hey, at least she didn’t use the word deplorable again!
Maxine Waters: “I have no sympathy for these people that are in this administration who know it’s wrong for what they’re doing on so many fronts. They tend to not want to confront this president or even leave, but they know what they’re doing is wrong. I want to tell you, these members of his cabinet who remain and try to defend him, they won’t be able to go to a restaurant, they won’t be able to stop at a gas station, they’re not going to be able to shop at a department store. The people are going to turn on them. They’re going to protest. They’re absolutely going to harass them until they decide that they’re going to tell the president, ‘No, I can’t hang with you.’ This is wrong. This is unconscionable. We can’t keep doing this to children.”
Trump condemned the attacks and called for civility. But he also tweeted that the media is partially to blame for this.
A very big part of the Anger we see today in our society is caused by the purposely false and inaccurate reporting of the Mainstream Media that I refer to as Fake News. It has gotten so bad and hateful that it is beyond description. Mainstream Media must clean up its act, FAST!
Well, this was just too much for the fragile and chronic whiner Jim Acosta to handle:
Trump talked about the bombs sent to former public officials at his rally in Wisconsin. But once again he didn’t mention CNN. On top of all that he criticized the “media” for coverage he doesn’t like. And, of course, he took no responsibility for his own rhetoric.
Donald Trump Jr had the perfect response to Acosta:
Jim, did you or your colleagues take any responsibility for your rhetoric in constantly calling my family Racists and Nazis for 2 years when my wife actually opened an exploding envelope of white powder intended for me? What about when it happened to my brother?
And where was the media outrage a few weeks ago when Susan Collins and others received packages of ricin seeds. Does anyone remember the media having a fit over that? I didn’t think so.
But Trump’s tweet was vindicated when an article ran in the New York Times about novelists imagining the “next chapter” for Trump. One of those novelists, Zoe Sharp, fantasized about the assassination of President Trump:
When it was time, he went downstairs, took his place in the lobby before the entourage appeared. The hotel staff had been lined up to see their boss, the president, go by. A few of them applauded. Most did not.
The president didn’t seem to notice. He waved, in his desultory fashion. The Secret Service agents clustered around him, ushered him toward the armored limo idling outside at the curb.
The Russian waited until they were a few steps past before he drew the gun. He sighted on the center of the president’s back, and squeezed the trigger.
The Makarov misfired.
The Secret Service agent at the president’s shoulder heard the click, spun into a crouch. He registered the scene instantly, drawing his own weapon with razor-edge reflexes.
The Russian tasted failure. He closed his eyes and waited to pay the cost.
It did not come.
He opened his eyes. The Secret Service agent stood before him, presenting his Glock, butt first.
“Here,” the agent said politely. “Use mine. …”
This ran in the country’s most influential newspaper. Do you think they would have ever ran something like this about a Democrat President? But it’s worse. This just didn’t come to them out of the blue. They ASKED several novelists to write these scenarios and then printed them knowing one of them was about murdering the President:

You know what this is? It is pornography for the Resistance movement. And unfortunately this is becoming more and more prevalent in the media. How often have they used Stormy Daniels as a tool to try and destroy Trump. Or the fictional gang rape story about Kavanaugh. Who thinks like this??? Obviously some on the left. It is sickening.
To this point thankfully no one has been injured or killed by these bombs. The left will continue trying to make this stick to Trump. It will fail just like all their other attempts. But let us remember that others HAVE been injured or persecuted in attacks coming from the left. Republican officials like Mitch McConnell, Susan Huckabee and Ted Cruz have been hounded in restaurants. And Steve Scalise was shot last year by a radical leftist. Keep this in mind while the media keeps denigrating the Right as the instigators of violence.
Update: An arrest has been made in the pipe bomb investigation. His name is Cesar Altieri Sayoc. Some in the media is now calling him the MAGAbomber. Are these people predictable or what??
