Trump Tweets Continue to Drive Leftists Insane

President Trump has reacted to the accusation that he is mentally unstable and once again trolling the left:

Now that Russian collusion, after one year of intense study, has proven to be a total hoax on the American public, the Democrats and their lapdogs, the Fake News Mainstream Media, are taking out the old Ronald Reagan playbook and screaming mental stability and intelligence…..

…Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. Crooked Hillary Clinton also played these cards very hard and, as everyone knows, went down in flames. I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star…..

 ….to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius….and a very stable genius at that!

 Everything in these tweets is correct – which I imagine is what has driven the left to respond the way they have.

• There is NO Russian collusion – at least not from Trump. The entire credibility of the investigation has been destroyed by the evidence we DO have that point to the Democrats. It is a total hoax – just like many other items on the left’s agenda like global warming, Republicans are racist, and the War on Women (from Republicans that is. We have found out a LOT about the war on women from the left the last few months).

• The left hated Ronald Reagan and called him stupid, unable to focus in meetings and often falling asleep. Sounds familiar doesn’t it? I had to laugh at this quote about Reagan from elitist Christopher Hitchens:

“He was as dumb as a stump. He could have had anyone in the world to dinner, any night of the week, but took most of his meals on a White House TV tray.”

Well, at least they can’t say THAT about Trump! He dines in fine style and has two scoops of ice cream!

Interestingly, Obama himself in 2008 dismissed the notion that Reagan was stupid:

“Ronald Reagan was a transformative political figure because he was able to get Democrats to vote against their economic interests to form a majority to push through their agenda – an agenda that I objected to.”

So apparently it was the Democrats who were stupid to be duped by the Gipper.

• The rest of the tweet is totally Trump in “character”, trolling the left while stating the truth. You don’t become a major TV star and President by being stupid. And he tries to give the left some advice that this line of attack did not work for Hillary and won’t work now. But they just can’t help themselves.

Nick Searcy had one of the most unique takes on Trump when guest hosting for Rush, comparing him to a professional wrestler and labeling him the “heel” President (at least to the left) and calling his tweets “chair shots” to the DC Establishment (the audio clips of Trump espousing his wealth side by side to Ric Flair were hilarious). Trump knows exactly how to “play” the media and politicians and has for a long time. And these tweets have completely triggered the left, which of course was his intention.

Rob Reiner: “The only true stable genius has to be Mr. Ed., who talks in more complex sentences than the current occupier of the Whitehouse.”

Beau Willimon: “Obama won on his first try AND won the popular vote. Also won a Nobel, shepherded economic recovery & secured healthcare for millions. You lost on your first try (Reform Party in 2000), lost the popular vote to Hillary & tanked Trumpcare. Also, you crazy.

Someone please tell him the popular vote is irrelevant – although he should know this since he is so much smarter than Trump.

But my favorite was from David Simon:

“This only way this tweet could be less reassuring would be if it was in macaroni letters glued to the inside cover of a Highlights magazine.”

It’s obvious David Simon didn’t review his tweet for typos before posting – at least I am assuming it was a typo and not poor grammar skills. And I guess he’s not aware that this man who he equates with the mentality of a child continually defeats the left. So what does that say about them???

All of this is an ongoing battle Trump initiated with Michael Wolff and his new expose against Trump. The media is eating this up and crying Wolff (pun intended). But in an interview, Mr. Wolff destroys his own credibility as an author:

“Many of the accounts of what has happened in the Trump White House are in conflict with one another; many, in Trumpian fashion, are baldly untrue. These conflicts, and that looseness with the truth, if not with reality itself, are an elemental thread of the book.

Imagine that – someone on the left defining their own truth. Anyone who still believes the authenticity of this book after the preceding statement shouldn’t be questioning President Trump’s mental stability.
