It Is Time For All Republicans (Including Those With Bruised Egos) to Support the President

Why isn’t the Republican Party standing behind this President in a unified manner? I have been totally impressed by the things that President Trump has accomplished. With very few exceptions, the Republicans as a group come across as a bunch of wimps who are afraid to stand up and do what is right …. back their President!

Yes, the President’s manner is brash and often less than eloquent. He is sometimes his own worst enemy when he lashes out through his tweets. I would rather see him assign that task to someone else. It helped him get elected but I believe that it has hurt his Presidency and is very dangerous going forward in light of the ‘investigations’.   However, he seems to be one of a very few Republicans who has the guts to speak out and defend his presidency.

My head has been spinning in reaction to his accomplishments and his bravery in doing things that are in the best interest of America. He is fearless. It is my opinion that he did the right thing to pull out of the TPP and the Paris Accord as well as his intent to renegotiate NAFTA and the Cuba agreement. His hard line stance with the countries of NATO to keep their commitment to contribute fairly to the NATO dues was absolutely correct. Many of these countries even have a much lower debt per capita than the U.S.. It is time that the U.S. cease giving our taxpayers’ money to other countries and time for them to step up. They are acting like spoiled brats who are mad that they are now being asked by mommy and daddy to do some household chores in order to get their allowances.

Once the NATO countries get over the fact that they will now have to pay up, they will put on their big boy and big girl pants and realize that they are now dealing with a strong world leader who will ultimately save their butts. They loved Obama because he let them slide on their dues and supported their liberal narratives. You know, the narratives that have led their countries to chaos and terror.

His meeting with the heads of the Middle Eastern and other Islamic countries was nothing short of magic. Of course, the MSM did not cover this event. They made up the narrative about Kushner and the Russians and expressed outrage all week in a fake attempt to avoid covering the President’s amazing visit in Saudi Arabia where he was given more than the utmost respect and great fanfare from the Arab countries. Not a peep about this from the MSM.

President Trump and his administration secured the release of Otto Warmbier. Perhaps if Obama had worked harder, or at all, to get Otto back, Otto would have been returned before he was at the point of no return. The truth is that Obama did not have the respect of the world nor the desire to stand up for our citizens. This was also shown when he allowed reporters to be beheaded by ISIS and numerous other examples which are too many to cite here. All tragedies resulting from Obama’s weak Presidency.

This President has accomplished more to help our country during his first 5 months in office than most other Presidents. It is time for the Republican party to put away their bruised egos and fear that they may look lame next to this President and put the country first.   Time to support Trump!
