Ever hear of Ronna McDaniel? She is the new Chairwoman of the Republican National Committee (RNC). She was elevated to this very important job because she “helped deliver Michigan for Donald Trump and the GOP for the first time in decades.”
Ms. McDaniel recently mailed to me a survey seeking my “feedback about the issues being addressed by Republicans in Congress….”, because the RNC considers me a very important “patriotic” “activist” in my community, the People’s Republik of Kalifornia (meaning, of course, that the RNC wants me to send them some money).
As I read Ms. McDaniel’s three page mass mailing letter concerning the survey, I was shocked at what was missing from the list of RNC action items. Here is the original letter. Before you scroll down, see if you can figure out what is missing from the RNC’s agenda of action items:
So, did you spot that the 800 pound invisible Elephant missing from the RNC survey is “Repeal Obamacare”? In fact, nowhere in the three page letter or on the “official survey” itself will you see any mention of health care at all!
As far as the “survey questionnaire” (which I doubt anyone at the RNC will give two cents about since I am not sending in money to further enable these foot-dragging Establishmentarians), here are the comments I’m sending back to Ms. McDaniels: “Repeal Obamacare!! Why didn’t this make the list?”
I am NOT at all optimistic that “the Republicans in Congress will pass reform and conservative policies….”
And “NO, I do NOT support Republicans in Congress until you repeal Obamacare and overhaul the tax code and secure the border!!”
Dear Ms. McDaniel, you claim you “want to hear directly from [me], unfiltered by the based media.” You’ve got it. Stop wasting my time. Start supporting Trump’s agenda to repeal Obamacare, enforce immigration laws, and cut taxes and shrink government. Since 2010 we the American taxpayers, voters, teaparty, conservatives, republicans, moderates, and even blue-dog Democrats have responded by giving the GOP more power in the Congress, the Senate and now the White House. We expect a return on our hard-fought victories.
You say “we need to unite.” Then start listening to us! Repeal Obamacare and build the wall! Where is “Repeal Obamacare“ on your list of action items? Hmm?
You claim you want to use these surveys as proof that Americans stand united “behind the efforts of President Trump” yet it is the Congressional Republicans who often have not advanced Trump’s agenda in the first 100 days. Ms. McDaniels, tell the RNC you had better get behind US!
You say “President Trump is counting on folks like [me] to ‘put skin in the game’ by supporting the Republic Party’s efforts to promote his agenda….” Show me how the RNC is doing that, please. After eight years of lip service, dramatized by sending numerous repeal bills to former President Obama, 100 days into Trump’s presidency the GOP still cannot agree on repealing Obamacare because the dirty little truth is that the GOP wants to continue the power Obamacare gives the federal government.
And by the way, WE ALREADY HAVE SKIN IN THE GAME! We have been paying more and more taxes and losing more and more of our Constitutional liberties while Republican goof balls in the Congress can’t get on the same page. Donald Trump won the presidential election because Hillary Clinton was a singularly wretched candidate offering even more of the socialist style big government that Obama gave us. Trump ran on the promise that he would fight the growth of the federal behemoth by repealing Obamacare, the singular biggest power grab we’ve seen since the Roosevelt era.
You say “President Trump needs the advice and support of [people like me]” as you ask me for more money. Don’t you mean the RNC? You’re trying to figure out how to maintain the GOP status quo. President Trump already HAS the advice and support and the power he needs. What he really needs is the GOP to send clean bills to his desk for signature. It is the feckless, Establishmentarians in the House and Senate who are holding up the show, blocking full repeal, delaying the budgetary changes that will secure our borders, cut taxes, spur economic growth and return the power to the people instead of growing the federal government.
Dear Madam Chairwoman, tell the Republicans in the House and Senate to stop the political gamesmanship and do their jobs to repeal Obamacare, build the wall, cut taxes and shrink the federal bureaucracy — and then we will contribute massively and gratefully to the GOP midterms in 2018.
