A Christian group claims a new Fox sitcom called “The Mick” teaches kids “to promote sexual immorality, abortion and transgenderism, and Planned Parenthood, the world’s largest abortion provider.”
The group Return to Order is a “campaign to address the growing alarm, confusion and frustration at seeing our beloved nation, a great temporal power, spin out of control.” Via email, its VP, John Horvat, describes objections to the show which stars Kaitlyn Olson as the “cool” aunt who contributes to the moral delinquency of her minor relatives:
- The show pitches a hashtag #KidsareD**** on twitter and Snapchat, commonly used by children
- The Aunt and babysitter of the children encourages and applauds the youngest boy in the family for wearing a dress to go to school
- The same aunt justifies theft and allows sexual frivolity inside the house in front of the youngest child
- Teenage daughter promotes a fund drive for Planned Parenthood while praising it as “health care” for women
- the Aunt recounts her own experience with Planned Parenthood, the world’s largest abortion provider, and compares it to getting freebies from a grocery store.
Olson is a co-executive producer to the show. Fox has already ordered 17 episodes of The Mick.
Deadline describes “The Mick” as
a comedy about an unapologetic degenerate (Olson) who suddenly finds herself stuck raising her spoiled niece (Sofia Black-D’Elia”) and nephews (Thomas Barbusca, Jack Stanton) in affluent Greenwich, CT.” The series also stars Carla Jimenez (Last Man Standing) and newcomer Scott MacArthur.
Sounds like yet another formulaic rework to showcase liberals mocking traditional moral values. Single White Female raising kids to be good little liberals. Perhaps viewers really do find this kind of formulaic stuff entertaining. Then again perhaps not.
Hollywood’s degenerates are out there normalizing themselves. Again. To do so, they employ clever writers to soft peddle gratuitous porn and abortion debauchery under the guise of comedy. Those who express concern over the content or the message are automatically labeled old-fashioned, prude and Puritanical.
Following Donald Trump’s victory, Bill Marr has correctly schooled the Hollywood Left as “losers” who should get out of their “bubble.” He is hardly the canary in the coal mine. Neilsen is scrambling to keep up to capture viewers’ preferences. Increasingly, Americans and the Millennial generation are rejecting the cliché Hollywood fare in favor of streaming options. Hollywood Lefties keep offering the same old tired Leftist clichés and just can’t figure out why so many people turn elsewhere.
CNN’s #FakeNews debacle has confirmed the media is biased in favor of a far-left agenda. Americans don’t trust the liberal media complex for news. So why should they trust it for entertainment? There is a huge market for entertainment that appeals to a conservative audience who loves God, Family, Country and the U.S. Constitution.
That’s the next epic takeover of culture — reversing the Leftist infiltration and the media complex spawned by the Frankfurt School as Andrew Breitbart explained in his book Righteous Indignation — to reclaim entertainment and pop culture.
