High School Volleyball Player Saves the Day When National Anthem Recording Fails

Marina Garcia, a San Antonio high school senior, plays volleyball at Holmes High School. Before a game earlier this month, the pre-recorded version of the national anthem stopped working so Garcia, who said she spent years in the choir, stepped up to sing the anthem. As the teen sang, the crowd stood in awe as Garcia hit the high notes.
ABC News reports:
As Garcia finished singing, the crowd exploded with applause and cheers and her teammates embraced her.
