Nominee for “Dumbest Assignment of the Year” Pt. 1: ISIS Propaganda Posters

PolitiChicks.comAnother nominee for “Dumbest Assignment of the Year” goes to a Utah teacher for having a high school class create recruitment posters for ISIS.  Mom Annie Langston was very upset and quickly complained after seeing her 14 year old daughter’s completed ISIS assignment (which Langston instructed her to tear up).

What kind of stupidity prompts a teacher to assign something like this directly after the Paris attacks?

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The school district has since apologized and the teacher has cancelled the assignment but I personally believe they need to show proof that the teacher has had her head examined before returning to the classroom….

Unfortunately the propaganda-style damage was already done as many students had already completed their assignment.  Can you imagine the search terms the students had to enter into their home computers to get some type of clarity on the wording their poster should include? I bet Homeland Security and the FBI got some pings in their system that night, all from a small area in Utah…
