PolitiChicks CEO Cast in New Movie About Serial Killer Dr. Kermit Gosnell

PolitiChicks Editor-in-Chief and owner Ann-Marie Murrell has been cast as a Reporter in the new movie, Gosnell, America’s Biggest Serial Killer.

The film stars actor Dean Cain, who starred in the  TV show “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.”  Cain is portraying James Wood, the detective who uncovered the horrors at Gosnell’s Women’s Medical Society clinic in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Earl Billings will portray Gosnell, and beloved conservative activist AlfonZo Rachel (PJTV’s Zo Nation) co-stars as a detective with Cain.  Brooke McGowan of ConcernedChristiansforAmerica.org and our own Oklahoma PolitiChick Julia Seay were featured in a scene as Pro-Life activists.

The movie, currently being filmed in Oklahoma, centers around convicted murderer/serial killer Dr. Kermit Gosnell.  Gosnell was charged on seven counts of first-degree murder and ultimately convicted of killing three infants who were born alive.  But another major part of the story revolves around the blatant lack of media attention this very inflammatory case received.  Fox News contributor (and noted liberal) Kirsten Powers wrote in USA Today,

“Let me state the obvious. This should be front page news. When Rush Limbaugh attacked Sandra Fluke, there was non-stop media hysteria. The venerable NBC Nightly News’ Brian Williams intoned, ‘A firestorm of outrage from women after a crude tirade from Rush Limbaugh,’ as he teased a segment on the brouhaha. Yet, accusations of babies having their heads severed — a major human rights story if there ever was one — doesn’t make the cut.”

Basically Gosnell was a serial killer who operated under the guise of an abortionist. And like all serial killers, he kept ‘trophies’–jars of feet, hands, and other body parts of the babies he butchered.  The Grand Jury report reads like a horror novel:

“This case is about a doctor who killed babies and endangered women. What we mean is that he regularly and illegally delivered live, viable babies in the third trimester of pregnancy – and then murdered these newborns by severing their spinal cords with scissors…The medical practice by which he carried out this business was a filthy fraud in which he overdosed his patients with dangerous drugs, spread venereal disease among them with infected instruments, perforated their wombs and bowels – and, on at least two occasions, caused their deaths.”

The Gosnell Movie is produced by the dynamic investigative journalistic team of Ann McElhinney, Phelim McAleer, and Magdalena Segieda via their groundbreaking Indiegogo crowdsourcing campaign.  John Sullivan, co-producer of Dinesh D’Souza’s 2016: Obama’s America and last year’s America is executive producer, and the film is directed by Nick Searcy, best known for his role as chief deputy U.S. Marshal Art Mullen on the hit FX show Justified.

Regarding the direction of the story, Searcy told Breitbart it will not be a ‘gore’ or ‘horror’ film:

“To be quite honest, it’s a fine line we’re going to walk. I certainly don’t see this film as a gore film, or a horror film, or an exploitation film. I see it as a serious crime drama, and what we’re going to do is trying to tell a very sordid tale in a way that the audience can stomach. I don’t think it’s productive to make a film that’s, you know, 15 or 20 minutes into it, half the audience just goes, ‘I can’t take this.’ So we’re going to have to find a way to tell this story in a way that can be handled and yet is still truthful.”

Because the Gosnell case has been so politicized by the media, the producers are expecting continued resistance when it comes to supporting their film.  McAleer, who has called Gosnell “part Hannibal Lecto, part Dr. Kevorkian” told TheBlaze, “We’re three immigrants in America. It’s like an American dream … in true American style, they’ve decided to help us…People were determined that this film was going to be made.”
