What Are Today’s Democrats REALLY Afraid Of?

If you mention the word “conservative” to a Democrat it generally induces vitriolic words which then induces a feeling of anger and angst.  And if you also bring religion into the conversation you will hear rantings that will make you think it’s the beginning of WWIII. Liberals rant and rave about equality for everyone, but when a conservative has a viewpoint, especially from a Christian perspective, well the north wind doth blow with an unrestrained torrent…But have you ever wondered exactly why today’s Democrats appear to have such venomous hatred toward conservatives?

In a nutshell, Democrats are afraid of conservatives because conservatives are unafraid of Democrats and know how to think for themselves.

Today’s Democrats are leaning ever-closer toward full-on socialism. Of course socialism is not good for any nation to thrive; the government promising to take care of its people is pie in the sky empty promises and the entire premise behind Socialism is to discourage independence on all levels, with the government completely in control of the masses.

The problem with Socialism is that it does not work and only leads to the destruction of society.  (If you doubt this, ask Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Ireland…)

And yet, today’s Democrats want the government telling everyone what to do and how to do it. They want to dictate what you should eat and wear; what should be taught to children (at home as well as in schools), and even who you should marry.  If a liberal believes in atheism, they think everyone should believe in atheism. Leftists not only want abortion but they want conservatives to have pay for them.  They want to tell you how much money you earn because it’s “not fair” that someone who works hard has more money than someone who doesn’t have a job at all…

Because of their beliefs, conservatives (aka “independent thinkers”) are not tolerated by the far-leaning left. If a person thinks differently than they do it may change the status quo, and liberals can’t tolerate that in their promotion of that ‘level playing field’.

Speaking of level playing fields, if this is the case have you ever heard of even ONE extremists in Hollywood or D.C. sharing their money equally with the poor?   Why not? They have far more wealth than the average American taxpayer.  (Oh that’s right; it’s because they only want the ‘average American taxpayer’ to share their wealth–not them…)

The United States political structure is a far cry from the original intent of our Constitutional framers which promoted less government interference, more personal responsibility, more self-reliance, and questioning the government’s motives.  In other words, common sense. Today’s government is infringing on individuals rights which leads to more government overreach.  The more government regulation and involvement, the more debt and the more dependence on the government. 

Liberals have oft stated that conservatives “want children to starve by not funding food programs” and “women will die on the floor of a hospital” because we don’t want to fund abortions.  Meanwhile, Obamacare has increased prices so dramatically that the poor are getting poorer and the middle class is becoming obsolete. (No problem, we’ll just print more money when we run out…)

Conservatives are called narrow minded, ignorant, and backward thinking but what Democrats really hate is that conservatives believe in living a decent, respectable life at a time when both the words ‘decent’ and ‘respectable’ are discouraged as being “judgmental”.

The thing is, conservatives care about all people – not just the ones who agree with us. Conservatives care about a strong healthcare system, clean water, good healthy food, science, education, and all people. We simply don’t want the government involved in all of these issues and making questionable mandates.

In the long run, their government programs do not help anyone except the ones with deep pockets. Free handouts do not encourage people to strive to improve their job skills in order to secure a higher paying job.

So overall, the reason why today’s Democrats are seemingly so terrified of conservatives is because conservatives choose to live a different lifestyle from them pertaining to ethics and morality. While Democrats are perfectly comfortable telling YOU how to live your life, they do not want anyone telling them what to do or how to do it.  There are still a few good Democrats out there; keep hoping that they will eventually see the light.
