The Looney Left’s “First World Problem” Over Cecil the Lion
In lieu of recent revelations about Planned Parenthood’s human rights violations, true humanitarians pay less attention to the unfortunate death of Cecil the Lion in Robert Mugabe’s Zimbabwe. Reading British media daily (The Daily Mail, The Telegraph) provides me great insight into the world’s priorities regarding human life. Only in the past three days have the horrific stories of Middle East refugees crossing the Channel from Calais, France surfaced, threatening violence if authorities seek to detain them. Such is the irony of the more left-leaning Europe, given the same problems, perhaps on a larger scale, afflict America.
For the one time I plan to address the death of 13-year old Cecil the Lion, it will be to debunk not merely the popular narrative the media spins, but what is actually transpiring. The lion was killed in an organized hunt by Dr. Walter Palmer (a dentist residing in Minnesota), a man who is now in hiding, facing death threats by the “tolerant, humanitarian” Left, who only abort non-humans. (More on that later.)
Understand, ladies and gentlemen, that Cecil was not a “cowardly” lion. But the looney Left appears as if paper tigers, their windy rhetoric blowing vigorously following a bad loss to a pair of scissors. They need all the metamorphic rocks at their disposal given many are too dumb to wrap their illbegotten welfare checks acquired through fraud. I am positive, though, Joyce Carol Oates is as acquainted to the triceratops as with Cecil.
In admitting my position, Cecil the Lion’s death as a “victim” of the Zimbabwean game industry is merely a matter to address for dictator Robert Mugabe (who stripped British-based citizens their right to own property and like President Obama, is a staunch post-colonial racist). To Americans and Western nations, however, it is an unjustifiable “First World Problem” affecting no one save those holding signs advocating “save the planet/commit suicide”. The people of Zimbabwe, however, couldn’t care less about the matter. Shooting animals who are wild game is an act of conservation. The Left knows nothing about conservation aside demanding to confiscate and hoard our own firearms and taxed wages — if we are lucky to have a job.
The rich irony behind the Zimbabwean government’s “concern” for Cecil the Lion’s death is reflected in two words by acting Information Minister Prisca Mupfumira which could (almost) serve as a Jeopardy! question— “What lion?” And though the Mugabe government had yet provided an official response to what now is an international incident, the matter was so urgent, local authorities opened an investigation, and not because a token 13-year old lion was shot for game. The lone concern by officials was whether the professional guides aiding during the hunt had abided by national rules and regulations.
Yahoo! News reported “the untimely passing of the celebrated predator at the hands of an American dentist went largely unnoticed in the animal’s native Zimbabwe.” In fact, one publication relied on foreign media’s contemporary “yellow journalists” because it “failed to send a reporter to the court appearance of two locals involved.” And while not a word had been uttered by the Mugabe regime as it understands animal lives are lesser matters than his and Obama’s persecution of Anglo-Saxon descendants, 200 radical Leftists protested outside Dr. Palmer’s suburban Minneapolis home, demanding he face extradition to Zimbabwe to face charges that likely will never materialize. Conspicuously, the report slipped in the reference to some “illegal hunt.”
I assume this will result in a push to ban bows-and-arrows. Dr. Palmer, after all, admitted to killing Cecil with the ancient weapon July 1 nearby Hwange national park. He also stated prior to the kill “he had hired professional local guides with the required hunting permits and believed the hunt was legal.” And in Zimbabwe, where unemployment is 80 percent while reeling from hyperinflation, the impoverished attempting to survive indifferently shrug. Obama, on the other hand, will not be deterred. He is fast catching up with Mr. Mugabe’s unemployment record in the labor force.
As the report itself laughed off the dearly-departed Cecil as a “First World Problem”, it quoted an impoverished used-clothing hawker in the nation’s capital, Harare, named Tryphina Kaseke:
“Are you saying that all this noise is about a dead lion? Lions are killed all the time in this country. What is so special about this one?”
Because after all, the world is not fit for biological cohabitation by humans, unless of course you are a feminist supporter of Planned Parenthood (“womyn”), intent to resurrect the ancient Greek island Lesbos. Only species of life lesser developed than mankind (including those rejecting “-men/-man” suffices) are to inherit the Earth — if the Left believed there really is a God who is not they as atheists. For Dr. Palmer, who paid $50,000 for the legal right to hunt wild game, actually saved lives of poverty-stricken Zimbabweans, a nation among many Leftists today intend to depopulate in the overwhelmingly-black African continent. Considering CrocBITE — a database — stated between January 2008 to October 2013, more than 460 recorded attacks by Nile crocodiles transpired, most of them fatal, even though this figure is certainly a massive statistical underrepresentation.
After all, in understanding the looney Left in America, a 33-year old father of two named Joseph Mabuwa was cited rhetorically-asking while washing his car inside Zimbabwe’s capital,
“Why are the Americans more concerned than us? We never hear them speak out when villagers are killed by lions and elephants in Hwange.”
The answer to Mr. Mabuwa’s inquiry was provided by Margaret Sanger, “We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.” Hillary Clinton approves of forcing peoples of faith to submit or else to vacuuming full-term babies live from the womb… or to be chopped to pieces like the Left’s hatred of all persecuted Christians in Nigeria, which Obama remains in full support. To Hillary, a devout Christian, this is our religious duty. God bless “Kill-ary”!
Rather than aborting or sterilizing all 1.111 billion Africans or their progeny, we will feed them to Cecil’s fellow pride members under the direction of PETA (“People for Eating Tasty Animals”). After all, Cecil is likely more aligned with King Richard III, who is most famous through Shakespeare for losing his kingdom for a horse. Richard the Lionheart is far too offensive to the memory of Cecil. And it seems the looney Left paints animals as more human than actual people, who they now classify as if a second-tier subspecies.
While all black lives matter, some are considered blacker than others. They will matter and become more equal only if they vote Democrat and are on food stamps. We need Cecil to save the planet from evil Anglo-Saxon racists… and those “lesser black” peoples. Because Margaret Sanger said so. And it is our Christian principle to kill as many people to save the planet. The power is yours! Conservation for all but those who do the conservation!
