In a sick show of solidarity with “pro-choice” baby killers at Planned Parenthood, 10 to 12 members of the Satanic Temple of Detroit worshippers put on their best political theater garb to protest “forced motherhood.”
The group’s convoluted PR piece defending Planned Parenthood is a rehash of liberal talking points. My translation of liberal illogic: 1) Vicious pro-life right wingers are just making up stuff about Planned Parenthood with fancy edited videos and probably used CGI and animal parts to fake images; 2) Tell a lie often enough about Planned Parenthood and the lie will become the public truth; 3) whatever is legal is good — all hail big government; 4) the longer something’s been going on the better it must be so don’t be so judgmental; 5) our tax dollars don’t fund abortion because the federal law says so and federal law is the inviolate supreme Truth.
Demonstrators poured gallons of cold milk over two kneeling, bound women “drowning” them while they spluttered and shivered during the stunt. The milk symbolized mother’s milk, and the bonds shackles of maternal slavery. Meanwhile, men wearing priestly garb and religious collars recited the Our Father, the Hail Mary, the Glory Be and the prayer to St. Micheal. The prayer to St. Michael the Archangel petitions God to cast into Hell satan and all evil spirits who prowl the world seeking the ruin of souls. The irony was apparently lost on the group.
When Lucifer, God’s once beloved angel, spat out the arrogant words “Non serviam” (“I will not serve!”) preferring to rule in Hell rather than serve in Heaven, it was a lowly angel named Michael who challenged Lucifer’s sin of pride with the words “Who is like unto God?” He was elevated to Archangel status for this courageous defense of God.
Motherhood itself is under attack. May God grant America the courage to stand for the sanctity of Life in the face of such depravity. St. Michael, pray for us!
