After the January 7 slaughter in France by Islamic jihadists, I hosted a special episode of The Glazov Gang with a stellar panel of Islamic experts. In addition to discussing the attack, we talked about the influence of Islam in Europe and ways the U.S. could also succumb to Islamic Law—via our American educational system.
In the beginning of the episode, I stated that the reason Islamic terrorists killed 12 people in France was because their god instructed them to do so. Specifically, I said ‘Mohammad told them to do so.’ And this is indeed the awful case and it is an issue that unfortunately, and tragically, our media and higher literary culture are avoiding.
Islamic Law prohibits people from creating images of prophets, which is why Muslims get so upset over cartoons and movies depicting Mohammad. (They’re supposedly just fine with depictions of Jesus, Moses, etc. but I digress…) This Islamic Law is based on the prohibition of images and of criticism of prophets in the Hadiths. Mohammed says in one hadith that whoever criticizes a prophet should be killed.
“Whoever curses a Prophet, kill him. Whoever curses my Companions, beat him.” — Muhammad
So if an image criticizes Mohammed, we can safely conclude what the Muslims who killed Charlie Hebdo journalists were inspired by.
Regarding Islam in our American schools, the discussion on the panel was daunting.
Author Becca Keating has done extensive study into Common Core’s Middle East ties and what she calls the ‘tentacles of Islam’ that are creeping into American curriculum and textbooks. Becca said,
“As I began to dig deeper into their teaching of literature…I started to see the funding from the Middle East coming into the textbook industry and actually changing the history for our children. In one particular history book, four chapters are given to Islam and the Islamic religion and culture. But they don’t just talk about the facts, they have a ‘bent’ to it that make it look really good, really nice, and yet they have one paragraph on Judaism. The curriculum (involves) planning a course for your class to visit a mosque, but they don’t just visit a mosque they have an Imam talking to them….”
Summarizing, Becca said that It’s not just teaching about that culture, “it’s literally embracing that culture by learning certain behaviors. And a parent would not know this unless they came home and said, ‘Guess what, Mom, we did this today…’”
After learning of Islamic teachings at a Manhattan Beach middle school, Shari Goodman of ACT for America did some digging and also discovered nefarious ties associated with it:
“A parent had pulled her child out of the school district because they were teaching the tenants of Islam, and they are doing this across the country under the guise of multi-culturalism,” she said. “And by ‘they’ I mean the Muslim Brotherhood and the various front-groups has infiltrated our educational system, and they’ve done it through the textbooks and they’ve done it through the (Common) Core curriculum.”
Steve Amundson, founder of the Counter Jihad Coalition, has also been involved in the Manhattan Beach School District fight:
“In Manhattan Beach the 7th grader was told to memorize the Shahada (SP), ‘There’s only one god whose name is Allah and Mohammad is his messenger.’ You know, if you say that in front of Muslims you’re converted to Islam. He was also given a homework assignment to fill in the Five Pillars of Islam. Now this is the same thing as if a teacher would say, ‘Okay, I want everybody to go home and memorize the 10 Commandments.’ The ACLU would be all over that school in a heartbeat.”
This is an important episode of The Glazov Gang and I implore you to watch and share with friends who have children in public schools. One thing you can do immediately is read every textbook and homework assignment your children are given. If you see something that goes completely against your beliefs and principles, SPEAK OUT. The worst thing you can do is remain silent, or hope someone else does something about it. Contact other parents, go to your school board, go to your district, go to your state legislators but do something. Complacency and indifference—and/or fear of being called ‘intolerant’–is how Islam has infiltrated Europe. We’re next unless something changes, fast.
