Video: ‘We don’t need coats. We need jobs!’

The term “empowerment” is often thrown around so loosely that it has no real meaning, especially when used by modern-day feminists. But this video of 24 year old Veronika is an inspiring example of what one woman can do to truly empower others. She set out to make coats for the homeless in Detroit but instead created a company that provides what the homeless need the most- jobs! If only our government could learn from this young woman. It’s not about entitlement or hand-outs, it’s about giving a hand-up!
