Pass the Leftovers
Posts all over Social Media after Thanksgiving either boast of full bellies, Black Friday deals, Cyber Monday Steals or even Football victories. I for one am not much of a Black Friday enthusiast; braving those midnight crowds isn’t worth saving a few bucks. I did, however watch a few games this weekend. Honestly, I was only interested in catching a glimpse of Dr. Gina on the sidelines at the Alabama vs. Auburn game. It proved to be a great game, I watched it to the end…well almost to the end, my sleepy eyes wouldn’t stay open long enough to catch the last 3 minutes on the game clock.
Leftovers are gone and Thanksgiving is over. It’s time to get back on track! Sure, indulging in pie and stuffing at Thanksgiving is a given, but the problem with most Americans is that this carries on from one holiday to the next and into the New Year. Ask yourself, is it worth it? Over indulgence during the holidays only leads to a downward spiral in your health, leaving you feeling weak and bloated, weighed-down and lethargic and just plain gross.
