Today in Common Core Revisionist History…

PolitiChicks.comYou have been told that Common Core only affected English and Math. Well, that is not so. I had my suspicions confirmed that History was Common Core when two years ago, Restore Oklahoma Public Education board members attended the Vision 20/20 conference for educators in Oklahoma. We went to the vendors area, and there was a very nice salesman there that assured me that as a History teacher, his day by day lesson plans – all aligned to the Common Core History being taught in Oklahoma – would save me lots of time… for only $1000. I inquired further… “So this is what is being taught in every state, and you are able to sell this in every state?”

His answer paraphrased: “Why, yes! My products are used nation-wide.”

BOOM! Thanks so much for that information, sir. However, the fact that they did not call History or Science “Common Core” did allow both of these subjects to be evaded by our Oklahoma Common Core Repeal bill. That was by design, and the History and the Science are what will fundamentally transform the thinking of the “Next Generation” of Americans from the American Dream mentality to the compliant Workforce.

The article below is a must-read from Donna Garner.  Thank you to the Georgia chapter of Concerned Women for America, who decided not to sit back and let Trevor Parker’s ( the College Board’s Senior Vice-President for AP Programs and Instruction) statements go unchallenged.

Please read and discuss with your state representative and senator- we must not allow AP US History to be taught with these untruths.

From the article: At the College Board, David Coleman and Trevor Parker are plotting together to force feed their Common Core, anti-American ideology into all of the products owned by the College Board including the SAT, PSAT, GED, and all AP exams.
