PolitiChicks Exclusive: Sr. Intelligence Officer Tells Pres. Obama, “Don’t throw us under the bus”

PolitiChicks.comThe President recently completed an interview in which he claimed the failures to understand ISIS were tied to “inaccurate intelligence assessments.” Arguing that his intelligence briefings, over half of which he has reportedly skipped, failed to inform him of the grave threat ISIS poised in the region. Few active duty members of the Intelligence community have been brave enough to speak out against Obama. Here is one exception.

In a PolitiChicks exclusive, an active duty intelligence officer took a moment to respond to the Presidents’ pointing the finger.  Senior Intelligence Officer C.J. Johnson, a member of the U.S. Air Force Intelligence community, had this to say:

“Let me just go on record as the Senior Intelligence Officer for National Airborne Operations Center and a specialist in both strategic and Islamic threats, that the highest leadership and my Commander-in-Chief have been kept abreast/ warned about specific threats and capabilities of ISIS and other groups for a very long time….Do not throw your hardworking Intelligence Community under the bus Mr. President….the failure does not lie there……..we need some good old fashioned God-fearing leadership for the days that lay ahead.”

The National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC) is tasked with maintaining the very Top Secret “Dooms Day Plane” for the President and all other important government officials. The planes, four of them, are kept in waiting in the event that a strike against the United States is launched. It was last called into service on September 11, 2001.

They differ from Air Force One in several ways, it can reportedly withstand a nuclear bomb, blasts from asteroids, and other terrorist attacks while also staying airborne for up to one week with midair refueling. It cannot fly longer because the engine requires lubrications that can only be administered on the ground.

Intelligence officers tasked with overseeing NAOC would necessarily need to be abreast of all potential threats to the United States and the President. Their intelligence officers would be on the front lines of defense against attacks from terrorist. These men and women would be keenly aware of the actions of groups like ISIS and Al Qaeda as well as other similar terrorist threats.
