Obama Hitches a Ride with Illegals While Marine is still in Mexican Prison

It was reported by CNS News that Obama told the Congressional Hispanic Caucus at a recent speech he gave that he was accompanied to the convention center by two illegal aliens, whom he called “dreamers.”
This is disturbing in more than a few ways other than the President of the United States admitting that he travelled with illegals. It’s disgraceful that Obama would praise and equate them and other dreamers with those who work hard to come to the United States the proper way.
At the end of his speech Obama promised to fix “our broken immigration system” after the midterm election, and most of us know that if he doesn’t get Congressional approval, he will use his pen and phone to give amnesty to thousands of illegals. What is pathetic about this is that many in Congress are willing to ignore the laws and immigration system we have in place and will allow Obama to do it.
Our politicians don’t care about the victims of the dark and tragic side of illegal immigration any more than they care about the sovereignty of our country or our laws. All they care about are potential votes. Obama implored people at the CHC to get out the vote, and according to the CNS News report, “noted that any immigration action he does on his own can be reversed by the next president. He said the only way to get lasting reform is for Congress to pass an immigration bill.”
Obama makes it clear with every speech that he doesn’t care about American citizens or naturalized citizens’ opposition to our porous border, lack of border security or the laws which millions still follow. He and many others would rather cater to those who are openly living in “the shadows” and praising them for being what America is all about.
Our system isn’t broken. It’s never been broken. It’s ignored. I was proud of the people in the room with me when we all swore the same oath to uphold the laws and Constitution of our country during our Citizenship Swearing in Ceremony. One of the first things after swearing our oath was watching a short video presentation of Obama congratulating us. I knew that his words where meaningless- because when he gives impassioned speeches which cater to illegals he praises them, yet any praise he gives to those of us who follow the laws is empty and hollow.
Even though I find it highly disrespectful the way this administration and others ignore those of us who come here legally, the most disturbing thing about his speech reminds me that Obama praises those who are here illegally, yet not a word is spoken about a US Marine Andrew Tahmooressi. Tahmooressi is a US Marine vet who has been in a Mexican prison for 6 months. Obama hasn’t even contacted Andrew Tahmooressi’s mother since his incarceration.
The fact that this administration is so willing to overlook the thousands breaking our laws every year by coming into the US illegally while claiming that they respect the rule of Mexican law is the height of hypocrisy and absolutely incomprehensible.
Andrew’s mother, US citizens, fellow Marines, media personalities and some lawmakers have been begging the Obama administration to act on Andrew’s behalf and bring him home but those pleas have fallen on deaf ears. He doesn’t care that one of our own is held and beaten in Mexican prison while suffering PTSD because of his multiple tours of duty in honorable service to our country.
Obama as Commander in Chief is supposed to support our Military- the same guys who defend Obama and our country, but I guess he’s too busy to listen because he’s hitching a ride with illegals to speak on their behalf instead.
