MUST SEE Movie Review- UnFair: Exposing the IRS

This year marks the 100th Anniversary of United States citizens paying income tax. A tax that was instituted under the 16th amendment to the Constitution in 1913 has become what the Founding Fathers of this country feared- tyranny!
In a one night only movie event, “UnFair: Exposing the IRS” will hit theaters on Tuesday, October 14th exposing the tyrannical abuse of power by the Internal Revenue Service. “UnFair” is described as a movie that “will reveal the truth about the abuses of power, the cover ups, and expose the IRS as a blatantly unfair, un-American, and corrupt entity which is unable to be reformed and therefore must be abolished.”
I recently had the opportunity to preview this documentary film at the recent Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C. It is a movie that all Americans should watch no matter what your political affiliation. It’s not just for conservatives or those who identify with the Tea Party; it’s for anyone who believes that government has no right to abuse the civil liberties of the American people.
The film takes you across the country where politicians, community organizers, and average everyday citizens are interviewed about the extent of the abuse of power from the IRS. There are interviews with political figures such as Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Louie Gohmert, Michele Bachmann and many others. But the real stars of this film are everyday Americans from Tea Party groups, Veterans, and even adoptive parents who give their emotional testimonies in how they were targeted by their very own government.
“UnFair: Exposing the IRS” is a ninety minute film which I believe every American should view to witness how a federal agency can bully and manipulate the citizens of this country through its egregious income tax system. It makes the case for why the Internal Revenue Service is not only a criminal institution but an immoral one and it must be abolished.
