The Glazov Gang: Why The Media Covers Lynch Mob

PolitiChicks CEO Ann-Marie Murrell hosts the latest episode of Front Page Magazine’s The Glazov Gang, tying in the public execution of American journalist James Foley with the continuous television coverage of the Ferguson, Missouri riots.
Nonie Darwish, Egyptian author of The Devil We Don’t Know and Now They Call Me Infidel offers her unique perspective on the Islamic beheadings:
“Mohammed himself said strike terror into the hearts of unbelievers…He himself is quoted as saying, ‘I have been victorious through terror.’ The word ‘terror’ and ‘terrorism’ is mentioned many times in the Quran. The word ‘peace’ was mentioned one time. So how the West keep divorcing what’s happening with Islam is just beyond me.”
RAGEAgainsttheMedia.org’s Karen Siegemund discusses the media’s attempts to divert attention away from the beheading of Foley so they can continue their coverage of Ferguson. She documented the brutal events taking place in the Middle East after Obama pulled troops out (against the advice of the military) and says, “If he had just maintained forces (in Iraq) as he should have, none of this would have happened. Three minutes between a fundraising letter and a golf game, he does not want us thinking about this at all.”
Seigemund adds, “We’ve seen law enforcement go from the local to the state and now the federal level. This is ‘never lets a crisis go to waste’, this is an opportunity have a federal power grab, it’s an opportunity to turn something that may or may not be a crime into a racial incident.”
Conservative entrepreneur Monty Morton offers his belief that everything happening is the direct result of a ‘presidency that doesn’t lead, it follows” and that “overtly favors a European..style of life, and Islam.”
“To me,” Morton says, “it was just a logical conclusion of all the actions and inactions of this president.”
