In their provocative new book, What Women Really Want, (in stores nationwide Sept. 2) Ann-Marie Murrell, Morgan Brittany, and Dr. Gina Loudon empower women to stand firmly against the forces that are breaking down the moral fabric of our nation and robbing Americans of their God-given liberties… these three beauties do so while calling on women to embrace their sacred femininity.
The three authors initiate their call to arms by first revealing the very truths that shaped their own lives and careers. Ann-Marie shares her personal awakenings that led her from being a die-hard Jimmy Carter Democrat to becoming one of the strongest Conservative female voices in the new media. Morgan shares her unique experiences of not only being a child star, but a Conservative in the hostile territory of Liberal Hollywood. Dr. Gina draws from her psychology expertise (and her unique relationship with her father) to explain the psychology behind the political labels we see today.
Will Donald Trump win the 2024 election?
The second battle cry from these modern-day Spartan ladies inspires women to confront the lies of the Left and reclaim the culture for their children. Ann-Marie begins by addressing the “war on women” head on. She writes,
“Because I am sick to death of the left claiming they are ‘victims’ here in America, I wanted to give them a little reality check as to what a real World War on Women is all about. And it has nothing to do with not getting free birth control and condoms.”
She continues by chronicling the real abuses toward women around the globe including honor killings, rape, forced abortions, and physical attacks in places like Afghanistan, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, China, and Pakistan.
Morgan describes Hollywood’s role in transforming American culture over the past few decades, mostly for the worse:
“As an optimist I want to believe that there will be a tipping point when things begin to turn around. There is an ebb and flow to this country, and if you look at our history, things have challenged us many, many times. The United States has always triumphed over injustices. Good has always triumphed evil, and I want to believe that it will happen again.”
When it comes to reclaiming the culture for our children, Dr. Gina describes how her own special-needs child, Samuel, has taught her “grace for the unforgiving, love for the hateful, and hope for the hopeless.”
After her traumatizing experience on ABC’s Wife Swap, Dr. Gina shares,
“I learned that God uses negative, even horrible experiences to change you and make you stronger, and that it is darkest right before the dawn and the promise of a new day.”
The authors’ final and passionate battle cry challenges both men and women to rise up in order to alter the political landscape and recapture the moral culture of our nation.
Ann-Marie describes how she began building her own ‘army of women’ from scratch. This army is now widely known as PolitiChicks, where Ann-Marie is co-owner (along with Dr. Gina and Morgan) and editor-in-chief. Her team of PolitiChicks writers consists of women nationwide who are passionate about Conservatism and have a broad knowledge of politics.
Dr. Gina explains how the power of one person really does make a difference. She also makes the case for the party platform:
“Grassroots activists know that the only power they have over a candidate once he or she is elected is that individual’s loyalty to the party platform. The party platform is the grass roots’ contract with their elected officials. The platform establishes a party from the grass roots up rather than having the power trickle down from the elected officials.”
Dr. Gina says the way we can get candidates to commit to the party platform once elected is by more public accountability.
Morgan makes a compelling case to win back Hollywood:
“There is no doubt that entertainment has become a much more powerful industry. It drives the global economy and influences cultures across the globe. Now American influence is everywhere.” (For better or worse.)
“It has taken one hundred years for the culture to be changed into what it is today. The leftist agenda has been at work trying to mold it into their “ideal” in a methodical, patient way. It certainly is not an easy task to change it back. But I think it can be done. It has to start will all of us.”
Ann-Marie encourages Patriots to stay the course, imploring Americans to research everything, especially the candidates they are voting for to represent them. She also urges Conservatives to reach out and to speak out more. She states,
“We’ve got to talk more often–and without whispering–about religion and politics. Yes, at the dinner table. Yes, in line at Chic-fil-A, or the car wash, or any other public place you may be. The day of hiding ourselves is over. Be loud; be proud; be conservative.”
Morgan reminds women that they are the key to America’s future. She laments how we all know deep down that if we don’t stand up right now, our children and grandchildren will be living in a country that we no longer recognize: “All right ladies, let’s lock and load. No matter what we do in the fight, whether it is big or small, we can all be proud to say that we stood up, made our voices heard, saved our families, and defended America!”
Dr. Gina concludes by reminding men and women “We are the land of the Free and the Home of the brave…we are only free because we are brave. Never forget that. Stay brave.”
What Women Really Want is a must-read book that challenges women to be on the front lines while remaining true to their sacred femininity. After all, that is what women really want.
