Is Media Matters Calling for ‘Humane Gas Execution’ of Conservatives Via George Bernard Shaw?

Media Matters is desperately trying to prove that Fox News is really a propaganda machine that only puts out “false knowledge”. Media Matters would also like to point out that Patriots, Tea Partiers, and conservatives in general are nothing more than ignorant buffoons who will sit glassy eyed as they are programed by the talking heads at Fox. In an effort to prove their superiority over such “conservative” news programs and its followers, Media Matters has taken it upon themselves to post quotes from a well-known Socialist and euthanasia supporter, George Bernard Shaw. Few people are alive now to remember in 1928 when Shaw visited America and made his public support of Hitler and Mussolini very clear. Nor are many likely to remember or be aware of the stance Shaw had of death panels or boards.
Now, in fairness to Media Matters, it is highly unlikely that they are not aware of the comments and beliefs of Shaw. Media Matters is after all, by their own assertion, superior in every way to Fox and Conservatives. So, they would absolutely know that Mr. Shaw famously stated “men and women should have to come before a board every 5 or 7 years to defend their right to be alive.” If they cannot articulate an adequate defense of their existence then Mr. Shaw called on chemist to create a “humane gas” for use in their murder. See the video of him speaking below:
For others who have posted the Media Matters meme on their Facebook pages, I would hope they were ignorant of Mr. Shaw’s heinous record on human life. Just so clarity can prevail, it is worth noting that men like Stephen Hawkins would have never reached acclaim because under Mr. Shaw’s world view. Hawkins would have been euthanized shortly after his diagnosis at age 21.
Shaw praised Hitler because both men believed that society could do without individuals with handicaps (both real and perceived…physical and political). These do not merely extend to those born with disabilities but also to those who may develop them later or suffer some dreadful crippling accident. For example, Christopher Reeve, best known for his role as Superman, would have been euthanized sometime after May 27, 1995 when he fell from his horse and became a quadriplegic. Shaw and Hitler saw no value in sustaining individuals like these when other “more productive” citizens could do the same work with less assistance from society or the state.
Media Matters has made it very clear that they are a socialist organization which supports euthanasia and death boards. There is no other explanation for why a group, who prides itself in their own intelligence, would rail against one section of society for being ignorant while themselves being ignorant of the ideology they are championing. So, it must clearly mean Media Matters is advocating for death panels, socialism, and humane gas chambers for use in executing Patriots, Tea Partiers, and Conservatives.
