Sen. Feinstein & Rep. Pelosi in Cahoots on the Immigration Front

PolitiChicks.comPolitiChicks.comPolitiChicks.comPolitiChicks.comSenator Feinstein made a ludicrous comment – no surprise there – about the deportation of illegal immigrants. According to her, deporting Central American children would be like “boatloads of Jewish immigrants trying to come to this country during Nazi Germany and getting turned back.”

Um…what? I don’t think it’s fair to compare Nazi Germany to Central America. These children aren’t being sent to an internment camp where their families are being sent to the crematorium. These kids aren’t being wiped out of their home countries because someone is trying to create a superior race. They’re being sent back to their homeland because they came to the United States without prior permission via the proper channels.

Senator Feinstein, it’s an absolute disgrace to have you “represent” me in Congress. Saying things like this is not only insensitive to those men, women and children who survived the Holocaust, but it’s also another example of why Americans can’t stand the political climate in our country. Using the Holocaust as a means of advancing your own political agenda is sick, at best.

If you want these illegal immigrants to remain in our country, why don’t you talk to your buddy Nancy Pelosi? Treasure Island is in her district and it’s currently sitting there, unoccupied. After all, Pelosi has claimed illegal immigration is an ‘opportunity’ to do the ‘right thing.’ But wait…it’s only an opportunity if these immigrants are dumped in conservative communities. Guess that tidbit was left out.

What is this opportunity you speak of, Nancy? Is it the opportunity to “punish” those conservatives who vote for Republicans? Is it your opportunity to make sure progressives, like you, are kept in office? Or is this just another opportunity to destroy the future of America?
