Why Is Obama Admin Sending Planes & Busloads of Illegal’s to Arizona?
A humanitarian crisis is emerging in the United States due to negligence and dereliction of border oversight by the Obama Administration. Illegal immigrants, primarily from Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala, are crossing the Rio Grande River into Texas, overwhelming the Immigration and Customs Enforcement system.
Newsmax said recently that the migration is due to reports that people who make it into the United States are being allowed to stay. Proponents of immigration enforcement “are dismayed that they are being freed to ‘disappear’ into America.”
The New York Times reported back in April:
“The migrants are no longer primarily Mexican laborers. Instead they are Central Americans, including many families with small children and youngsters without their parents, who risk a danger-filled journey across Mexico. Driven out by deepening poverty but also by rampant gang violence, increasing numbers of migrants caught here seek asylum, setting off lengthy legal procedures to determine whether they qualify.”
Over 90,700 apprehensions by the Border Patrol in the Rio Grande Valley has taken place since last September, a 69 percent increase over last year.
The most recent problems stem from an understaffing of Border Patrol personnel. South Texas is not capable of handling the processing and has started to transport them by plane to El Paso. Relief agencies are overwhelmed and concerned that the illegal immigrants are being released into inhumane conditions.
Fox News said that other reports are surfacing that “scores of illegal immigrants in Texas will be flown, bused, and basically abandoned out[side] of the state of Arizona and elsewhere”.
Arizona Governor Janice Brewer released an official statement Friday expressing her outrage to President Obama “of this disturbing and inhumane policy”.
More than one thousand unaccompanied alien children (UACs) are due to arrive in Arizona this weekend. This will include 432 Friday and another 734 over Saturday and Sunday. This is not including adults and family units.
Governor Brewer, labeling this as a crisis of the federal government’s creation, is demanding answers from the Department of Homeland Security since there is no plan to deal with the onslaught of illegal aliens once released here.
The New York Times seems to have called it right. The “illegal aliens are hoping for asylum as the migrants strain the border”—and now Arizona.
