The Lawlessness of the Obama Administration

Overriding Congress

The more we find out about the trade of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl for 5 key Taliban members the more it looks like a bad deal for the United States. In an interview with Brian William of the Obama loving network NBC, Obama himself believes he does not need approval in “his” government. We’ve not only seen that attitude of “I’ve got a phone and a pen” with the Bergdahl trade, we have also seen this imperialistic behavior with how his administration handles laws in place with voter ID, immigration, Obamacare, National Labor Relation Board nominees and more.

In the past, former President George W. Bush met great opposition to acting with “signing statements” as then-Senator Obama said during his campaign trail that he would never use them if he was elected. Even the non-partisan website Politifact has put this into yet another “Obama Broken Promise”.

Illegal support of Illegals

While the Obama administration is busy making sure the media and therefore the American people are watching continuous coverage of Bowe Bergdahl, states like Arizona and Oklahoma are having 1,000’s of illegals bussed to their states by the administration and dumped there for the states to care for. The Democrats are systematically growing the voter base for their party with no regard to how this affects the legal citizens of America or the economy.

With the actual unemployment rate estimates standing around 37% to include the individuals who gave up looking for work, work part time but prefer full time and those who have no intention of working; adding thousands more to the employment numbers will create an even bleaker economy to our already struggling nation. When you couple this with the money the administration is providing to illegals for government assistance, financial aid/tuition breaks for college and now legal aide in order to stay illegally in our country, it is certain the misery index will increase for us all. It appears the more you break the laws that this administration refuses to enforce, the better off you are.

When the Democratic-controlled Senate decided to take the “Nuclear option” this also empowered the (RINO) Republicans. If the 2014 midterms sway control of Congress to the Republicans what do you think will happen if the “go along to get along” wing of the party keep their seats as incumbents? Remember Bush bowed to a Democratic-controlled Congress and spending increased while our economy and the housing market continued to fail. The Republicans will most certainly continue the “nuclear option” plan. If they cave (as Reagan did) to the immigration plan for compassion with votes will the economy that produced more low wage service sector jobs be able to survive? When you factor in the high unemployment rate for minorities and teenagers, adding more faces to the labor force will only increase the already record high percentage of the unemployed.

EPA power grab and stagnant economy under Obama policies

The fact that with each passing administration not only have we seen massive Government growth but also a massive approach to lawlessness; any voter with any political ideology should take great pause in what we are witnessing. That means that the next President will use the past actions of their predecessors and continue to ignore laws and grow a more overreaching government.

Compared to the country that owns the majority of our nation’s debt, China has seen growth matching 7.7% with manufacturing slowing down while service industry is picking up. However, in stark comparison, the United States growth rate for first quarter 2014 was an anemic 1%! Factor in the latest Obama administration power grab with the EPA attacking the coal industry while taking great measures in determining what constitutes drinking water on privately owned land and we are witnessing measures which further stymies manufacturing while ensuring staggering power bills for the average American family that could mean financial hardships continue.

VA scandal….the result we face with Obamacare?

Just prior to the media attention focusing on the Bergdahl story, the Obama administration was feeling a bipartisan outrage with not only members of Congress but the American people as well when the horrifying facts of mistreatment of our veterans were exposed. With an internal investigation still in progress, the recent revelations of a preliminary look has uncovered large waiting periods and intentional loss of patient records while upper administration members were awarded bonuses. Couple with a decreasing number of trained specialists and physicians and you have what the civilian population is experiencing now. Despite the CBO last week announcing that they can no longer provide estimates of what the ACA law will cost/impact the economy, millions more of taxpayer money is being spent on revamping the website and marketing the failing health care law that many Americans can’t afford.

It’s not a scandal unless you are a Republican

President Obama (on a G-7 Summit trip no less) suggests when asked by reporters about the Sgt. Bergdahl trade for 5 prominent Taliban members, that the outrage was merely a “Washington whipped up scandal” even though it was bipartisan. In other words the Bergdahl trade, the VA mistreatment of veterans, IRS targeting conservative groups, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, NSA and others we could name are all simplistically considered “phony”.

However, not too long ago the liberal media including the Daily Kos publicized a list of what they considered George W. Bush scandals during his presidency. On this list of course was the Iraq War which intelligent and educated people would remember that the decision to invade Iraq was a bipartisan one (with Hillary Clinton and John Kerry making that list). Also on this list by Daily Kos is a scandal called “Gannongate”. Now I personally had never heard of Jeff Gannon aka James Guckert but apparently the liberal media heavily reported it.

Google the term “list of scandals under the Obama administration” and you’ll find all those mentioned in this article plus quite a few more. You will also see the list of liberal media outlets that take those lists and try to spin them away as nothing more than criticism driven by your hatred for Obama’s skin color. Seems it’s one thing to point out the “scandals” of a presidency if the last name is Bush; but when you come up with a list (and counting) for the Obama presidency then you are a racist. The American people however are increasingly considering the actions of this administration as lawlessness and the recent polls showing the lack of trust for the government is hard to ignore (unless you are a diehard liberal).
