The Invasion of Baghdad & the Rise of the Persian Caliphate

PolitiChicksIt appears that more than just the emerging Caliphate is on the rise in the Middle East.

According to Wikipedia.orgAcaliphate (from theArabic:خلافة‎khilāfa, meaning “succession”) is anIslamic state led by a supreme religious and political leader known as a caliph– i.e. “successor”– to Muhammad and the other prophets of Islam.

Iran is a Shi’ite country and right now the insurgents in Iraq are primarily Sunni. The Shi’ite sect of Islam is highly motivated to usher in the return of the Twelfth Imam whom they believe was hidden or protected by Muhammad until the end of time. Because this Imam’s return must be accompanied by a devastating war that would end the world, it is in the best interests of the Twelfth Imam’s followers to set the stage for his return through the instigation of horrendous warfare. To make this happen, Iran is aiding in the insurgency of its neighboring country of Iraq which consists of Shi’ite warriors who want to form the majority in that country. There is a Shi’ite group in Iran known as the Hojjatieh who are in agreement that stirring up chaos will usher in the Imam’s return; however, it is important to point out that most Sunnis do not subscribe to this theory.

You might recall a 2005 speech when Iran’s Ahmadinejad spoke of his belief in the return of the Twelfth Imam.

The Shi’ite control Syria and Iran; therefore, if they take over Iraq, there will be a huge land mass not unlike the territories that make up ancient Persia. This would not only embolden the Shi’ite militia, but would allow them to have a humongous staging area from which to launch expeditions and conquests of other adjoining Islamic nations—the obvious ones currently being Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the Arab Emirates. Needless to say, this potential new Caliphate would find willing allies in Hamas in Gaza and on the West Bank of Jordan.

Of course, this does not bode well for Israel and with the current Obama administration wringing their hands and doing nothing. Terrorist cells within America will most likely be encouraged to prepare and strike the United States as soon as they receive orders. Keep in mind the shallow press reports suggesting Obama’s newly released terrorist Dream Team would not return to the field citing age and being out of touch as the reason. However, the five who were released through Obama’s folly are intellectuals. They are not foot soldiers who pick up a rifle and face the enemie one-on-one. They are the planners and military strategists who send others in harm’s way and they are highly motivated to get even with the United States after being in Guantamo.

Make no mistake—whatever the motivations of the current Obama administration are—America is on the brink of its darkest hour. (Read Cloward and Piven Stragegy and a FRONGPAGEMAG.com article titled, 6 Saul Alinsky Rules That Explain Obama’s Words and Deeds).

As an aside, it may benefit us to look at some of the strategies that Islamic nations and in particular, Iran, uses before invading a country. During the Iran/Iraq wars, Iran sent waves of children over their border into Iraq. This was a two-fold strategy: If the children stumbled upon land mines, the child would be lost, but so would the land mine that would have injured or killed an Iranian soldier. The second reason for this scenario is that armies tend to not want to shoot unarmed children.

How is our own border looking? What could be following next coming from the South?
