To all Americans who who love and appreciate the men and women who risk their lives for our freedom,
We have an American Marine who President Obama and his administration have “left behind”.
Please take a stand for the release of Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, and in doing so, defend the defenders of our freedom. Everyone who’s paying attention, recognize that our freedom has never been more fragile. In spite of his honorable service to this country, none of our elected officials in power have effected Sgt. Tahmooressi’s release.
We have so many in Congress, who make a great deal of noise holding hearings, but in the end, it’s nothing more than sound and fury, signifying nothing. So many unfit to hold public office, worthless politicians who’ve been in power so long they’d never risk their positions for any Cause, other than their own re-election, certainly not simply to do the right thing.
Instead of acting as commander-in-chief and fighting to #BringBackOurMarine, our president has become the human trafficker-in-chief, aiding and abetting the cartels and the coyotes by sidelining law enforcement personnel from securing our border and enforcing our sovereignty, turning them into babysitters. The President has traded 5 terrorists for a deserter instead of fighting to get an American marine out of a Mexican jail, and still not one of our congressman has the courage to put forth articles of impeachment. By his actions he has lost the right to rule this great nation. We no longer have a real president, we merely have a tyrant parading as one.
So, it’s left to “we the people” to take action, and the most powerful thing we can do is pray. Starting at 3pm on Friday, July 4th, we will stand vigil for 8 hours at the place where Sgt. Tahmooressi made the wrong turn that cost him his freedom. Join me in person or online, standing vigil, asking every American who cares to hold their own vigil, holding a light and saying a prayer, then share pictures on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using hashtags:
We can no longer wait for politicians to act while this defender of our freedom is held captive in a Mexican prison. We must stand and we must pray. He is not just “one marine”; he is our brother, our son, our nephew, our neighbor. He is “our marine”. May God be with Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi and all who serve in harm’s way that we might live free.
