Over the course of the last week, as the events of the Bundy Ranch raid have unfolded, has anyone asked why the Bundy’s have not been able to tell their story in detail or within the context which has driven them to fight so fervently for American foundational principles? What is probably as significant an event to present day history as the Boston Tea Party was to the American Revolution seems to be bypassed by the main-stream-media and marginalized and diminished by much of the larger so-called conservative media sources.

The Bundys have never received a bill from the federal government yet, the BLM claims they are in arrears nearly $1.1 million dollars for grazing fees, on land that does not even belong to the federal government.
Has anyone ever asked what it costs to send a paramilitary operation, with choppers, snipers, attack dogs, equipment, etc. into a remote part of the west to collect an imposed fine of $300,000 to $1.1 million dollars? And why would a government go to such lengths to exact fees from the last remaining rancher in the area, when they haven’t attempted to collect in over 20 years?
