Clark County Sheriff Tells Feds To Back Down From Bundy Ranch, BLM Announces Pullout

For what it’s worth, Clark County Sheriff Doug Gillespie announced moments ago that he has ordered BLM off the Bundy Ranch.
In any event, BLM announced that they are ceasing operations this morning in the roundup of Cliven Bundy’s cattle on public lands. Reported as breaking news by CBS News 8 in Nevada, the BLM says it is concerned for the safety of its employees and the public. Smart move. The Feds don’t need another Ruby Ridge or Waco on their resume.
These announcements after reportedly 20,000 people showed up in Bundy’s defense, with more citizens and militia on the way.
There question lingers whether or not the local Sheriff demanded the Feds departure before or after BLM decided to leave.
The showdown this week was spurred after the Feds showed up and rounded up Cliven’s cattle as a response to non-payment of BLM enforced fees.Screen Shot 2014-04-12 at 11.47.34 AM
