Dr. Ben Carson: I’m Not A Fan of Political Correctness

Benjamin “Ben” Carson, Sr., Neurosurgeon, Professor Emeritus at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, author of “America the Beautiful”, and the 2008 recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President George W. Bush, spoke at CPAC today.
Addressing the crowd, Dr. Carson explained that after traveling all over the country, speaking to many Americans, the good news is that the majority of Americans do have common sense. He said the problem is, “They have been beaten into submission by the “PC” police…they are afraid to speak up for what they believe.”
In response, Carson declared, “It is time for people to stand up for what they believe and stop being bullied.”
Dr. Carson also explained that while he doesn’t miss what medicine has become, he does miss the patients. He also stated, “The most important thing people have in their lives is their healthcare, and that is the reason why we need to fight to be sure THAT stays in their hands and not in the hands of the government.”
