Big Business Targets Common Core's Band of Mothers

David and Goliath grudge matchParents across the United States are fighting Common Core.  Our funding comes by taking money from our grocery budgets to make trips to the State Capitol and around the States to inform parents of the dangers of Common Core.   The mom who has had the most sleep the last two nights gets to drive if we are traveling over two hours to talk to a group or debate a pro-CC advocate (and we never lose the debates).   We don’t have a budget for shiny brochures or TV ads or even newspaper ads to publish our events.  We are fighting the fundamental change of America.  This is not a difference of opinion in education techniques.  This war is for the heritage of our children.

We are up against Bill Gates, GE, Exxon and the Chambers of Commerce, the State Departments of Education and other corrupt politicians.  Not only will our government use our tax dollars to flood parents and teachers with the praises of Common Core, including purchasing the PTA and the NEA with Gates’ Foundation donations, the newspapers and media are naturally in the pockets of the Chambers.  Now apparently Fox News is about to run ads with their trusted personnel to defeat the grassroots efforts of the concerned parents and the brave educators who risk their jobs by speaking out.

Joy Pullman has written a powerful article that gives a glimpse into the war that is being waged against our children and those who are fighting for them.

From the Article: “It’s never been about kids or parents, it’s about ‘the Chamber of Commerce can help me with my campaign,” (Jenni) White fumed from the capitol late Wednesday.
