Oregon Citizen Satirically Proposes Banning Knives, Cars, Chainsaws…

openI recently wrote about a black activist group that drove Trader Joe’s out of a “black neighborhood” in Portland (it would attract too many whites), against the wishes of the residents. So, this new story came just in time to ease my poor Oregonian mind!

The city of Ashland, Oregon wants to ban “loaded carry”. Before we go on, yes…loaded carry. In other words, there is an open carry law in Oregon, but Ashland wants to ensure your gun is not loaded when you carry it. Brilliant, no?

The Councilor that is sponsoring the law often refers to that famous line; “It’s for the children!” But, that wasn’t even notable once she uttered this winner while talking children, Sandy Hook, etc. “I know there are statistics out there but I didn’t look them up”.

Did I mention there’s never been an incident in the city involving an open carrier? Oh, silly me…details, details.

Thankfully, Ashland has a very smart resident who knows how to get attention and laughs, in that satire rich manner only an Englishman can pull off. Check out the video from OpenCarryUSMC:
