New Stats: Abortions Outnumber Live Births in NYC Black Community
After writing about politics for many years, it takes a lot to rattle me. I freely admit this newly released information has me shaken to the core. The headline reads:
Abortions Outnumber Live Births Among NYC’s Black Community
Yes, you read that right, there are more black babies killed by abortion than born in New York City. How is this even possible in a civilized society? I foolishly believed that even abortion supporters would be saddened over these numbers. They’re not, in fact, many of the comments try to belittle pro-lifers for daring to suggest this is barbaric.
The information is based on data from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene for 2012. A total of 24,758 black women had their babies and 31,328 aborted. In Brooklyn, more women choose to terminate their baby rather than giving birth.
Women ages 20 – 29 had the most abortions of all the groups. Even though the rate of abortion in New York City has dropped to under 40 percent for the first time in a decade, the numbers are shocking. Obviously, Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger’s vision has come true, especially in NYC.
Margaret Sanger on blacks, immigrants and indigents:
“…human weeds,’ ‘reckless breeders,’ ‘spawning… human beings who never should have been born.”
On the extermination of blacks:
“We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population,” she said, “if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”
The second highest rate of abortion were for Hispanics. Live births were at 36,642 and terminated babies were at 22,917. Whites in NYC had approximately 9,704 abortions and Asians/Pacific Islanders had 4,493.
These results demonstrate the real “War on Women” coming from the Left and the numbers are as unacceptable as the act itself. It needs to be called what it really is…genocide.
