Congress, Please Stop the President Now!
Regardless of political persuasions or which political party you claim, every American is losing freedom and liberty at a startling rate, and the fact that so many people appear to choose not to believe this is appalling and alarming.
In the 5 years of his stranglehold and reign of destruction, President Obama has hijacked 1/6 of the nation’s economy and caused millions of happily insured people to lose their coverage via Obamacare, closed coal mines causing more unemployment and rising power bills, wasted millions of dollars on ineffective “green energy” endeavors, killed the 40-hour work week, caused rampant unemployment, used the IRS to persecute conservatives and conservative groups, used the NSA spy on innocent American citizens– and those are merely a few of his stellar achievements. Let’s add to these accomplishments a few of his crimes and lies: Fast and Furious, deaths Seal Team Six, and Benghazi, “you can keep your doctor and your insurance.” He enforces willy-nilly only the parts of any law he wishes to and ignores the remainder (Defense of Marriage Act), has made at least 24 changes to the Obamacare law, and sued the State of Arizona for enforcing immigration laws.
In his State of the Union Address last month, President Obama said that he will circumvent Congress, “So wherever and whenever I can take steps without legislation to expand opportunity for more American families, that’s what I’m going to do.”
President Obama is usurping power where he has no authority, and nobody is stopping him. He is violating our Constitution at every turn. The Constitution is a piece of paper and cannot defend itself. We the People have no audience with the President; however, our Congressmen do, and it is they who swore an oath to uphold and defend our Constitution. It is they who represent us and who stand between us and the President.
Congressmen, where are you? I am not interested in committees or protocol. It is way past time for action. Congressmen, the time is now for you to stand up and stop this tyrannical President. Do it now.
