The Left Celebrates Abortion As Only They Can
As a conservative, I often read or see something from liberals that makes me shake my head. Wednesday was the 41st anniversary of Roe vs. Wade and I went way beyond shaking my head, I cried. For obvious reasons, the 41st Annual March for Life in Washington DC is held on the same day. Between the horrible weather and the media blackout of the event, the heartbreaking and callous comments from the left overshadowed the March. Here are some of the worst ones:
Planned Parenthood posted a celebratory sign on Twitter that said, “Celebrating 41 years of women’s access to safe and legal abortion, and our renewed commitment to keep it that way.”
President Obama released a statement that included an undeniable cabal with Planned Parenthood. He wrote, “…we recommit ourselves to the decision’s guiding principle: that every woman should be able to make her own choices about her body and her health.”
Obama added this creepy pronouncement, “”[T]his is a country where everyone deserves the same freedom and opportunities to fulfill their dreams.” As expected, “everyone” excludes the rights of the human being who’s life is being terminated.
Bigmouth blowhard, U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee reacted with her usual class. She tweeted, “Happy 41st birthday, Roe v. Wade. #WeNeedRoe #Roe41,” which led someone to ask if they were planning to have a cake, too!
Of course, Wasserman Schultz had to reiterate, “As a woman, mother, daughter, friend & policy maker, I honor #Roe41 by reaffirming my commitment to protecting women’s rights.” Again, you can see the clear-as-day collusion with Planned Parenthood in the use of words like “commitment” and “recommit”..
Obama’s statement is very similar to last year’s. In 2013 he said, “… And as we remember this historic anniversary, we must also continue our efforts to ensure that our daughters have the same rights, freedoms, and opportunities as our sons to fulfill their dreams.” The implication being that abortion levels the playing field.
“Honoring”, “celebrating” and sending birthday wishes upon the deaths of the 56 MILLION babies murdered since the passing of Roe vs. Wade is horrendous. It demonstrates a lack of simple humanity to rejoice in such a savage act. The more “progressive” America becomes, the more acceptable heinous things become.
