Gov. Cuomo Suffering From “Foot In Mouth” Disease

my-photoIn a radio interview with NPR last Friday, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said about conservatives, “Who are they? Right to life, pro-assault weapons, anti-gay — if that’s who they are, they have no place in the state of New York because that’s not who New Yorkers are.”

Isn’t it amazing how bold and outlandish liberals can be with their beliefs? A governor is publicly telling conservatives they are not welcome in his state. It is said that conservative Fox News and talk radio host Sean Hannity has agreed to his request and will move. Of course with that decision goes his money, all $35 million of it. Wonder if other millionaires will jump on Hannity’s bandwagon and move as well?

For Cuomo and many other liberals, the mere thought of advocating for an unborn child sends them railing; however, when you add that conservatives support the constitution and believe in the traditional marriage of one man-one woman, then that is just unacceptable. Liberals believe you should not have a say against anything they believe in. For liberals, any moderate Democrat, conservative or Christian are to be disposed of entirely because we don’t align 100% with those values they hold dear to their heart–therefore we must be “destroyed”.

I guess Cuomo believes New York can afford for all the conservative men and women, who assist his state by paying the highest tax rate next to California, to leave. Maybe it was just my imagination when I saw a commercial recently touting “bring your business here to New York and we’ll give you a tax break”.  I guess they should have a disclaimer at the end that says, “Unless you disagree with our liberal mindset—Conservatives need not apply.

So this is the “new”New York?  No thank you.
