Does Character Count? A (Scary) Look at Hillary Clinton

“Character is much easier kept than recovered.” ~Thomas Paine
Does character matter in our society? It used to matter a great deal. Modesty was once considered a great virtue. It used to be that a man’s word was good enough, and a handshake was taken as a pledge or promise. It used to be that an oath given, sworn to be the whole truth and nothing but was sworn on the highest Moral Authority, on God, so help me, and by placing ones hand on the Bible, the code book of moral instruction.
People still do swear to tell the truth, but do they know any more on whose truth they swear by? Swearing an oath and having your word mean something seems to be just empty tradition to many, and I have to wonder how many people even think about the meaning behind the point of it.
When it comes to business, and the practice of hiring corporate leaders, the person doing the hiring must check on the potential employee’s loyalty, past behavior, business experience and practices, and be able to judge whether or not the applicant is honest or not. In other words, the person’s character is under scrutiny and everything must be presented, it is crucial to any hiring practice. They have to make sure the person they hire is going to work in the corporation’s best interest, to be fair and honest when dealing with other employees, the company shareholders and clients.
While there is no litmus test when it comes to hiring those who are elected to public office, it would be interesting to see what things would be like if we actually had those who apply for the job of congress, senate or president fill out an application and have an interview the same way businesses do when they hire.
The United States is not a corporation, but the government in essence is like a business, and like any employer, we the people ought to be checking with the same diligence as corporations do when hiring. We should be able to check references to be able to see how they would represent our company and deal with clients. It would also be wise to make sure our potential employee understands our Corporate Laws and more importantly, abide by them.
I’d like to run a test application and, for the heck of it, focus on Hilary Clinton. There’s no official word from her that she is running in 2016, but things have been shaping up in that direction for some time. Let’s see what we would find on her application for CEO of The United States of America:
Education History– Hillary Rodham attended Wellesley College, where she was active in student politics and was elected senior class president before graduating in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. In 1969, while at Wellesley Rodham wrote a 92-page senior thesis “There Is Only the Fight . . . “An Analysis of the Alinsky Model which was based on radical community organizer Saul Alinsky. She tried to liken him to American social activists such as Martin Luther King and Walt Whitman. It doesn’t seem to matter that she found a guy who dedicated his book “Rules for Radicals” to Satan, appealing.
She then attended Yale Law School, served on the editorial board of the Yale Review of Law and Social Action. In 1970, she was awarded a grant to work at the Washington Research Project (which later became the Children’s Defense Fund) and was assigned to Senator Walter Mondale’s Subcommittee on Migratory Labor. It was during her time at Yale when she met Bill Clinton.
Employment History– In the summer of 1972, Hillary worked in the western states for the campaign of Democratic presidential nominee George McGovern. In 1974, she became a member of the presidential impeachment inquiry staff, advising the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives during the Watergate Scandal. Later the same year she became a faculty member of the University of Arkansas Law School in Fayetteville.
After marrying Bill Clinton, Hillary worked on Jimmy Carter’s 1976 campaign for president while Bill was elected Attorney General of Arkansas.
In 1977 Hillary Clinton joined the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock and while husband Bill was Governor of Arkansas she also served on boards for TCBY and Wal Mart.
When Bill was elected President, the Clintons invested in Whitewater Real Estate and Land Development with their good friends James and Susan McDougal who also owned the Madison Guarantee Savings and Loan, which financed the Whitewater venture. The Savings and Loan failed, costing the federal government $73 million, and the investigations resulted in 9 individuals pleading guilty to various crimes, and 5 others being found guilty including Clinton’s close friends Judge David Vale and Susan McDougal.
In 2000, while Bill, by then, known as Slick Willie was still president, Hillary ran for Senate in New York, which she won and then was reelected.
After a failed campaign for Presidency, she was appointed by Obama as Secretary of State.
Money Management/Financial Experience– In 1978 and 79, while First Lady in Little Rock, Hillary engaged in a series of trades of cattle futures contracts which turned a $1000 investment into $100,000 after just 10 months. By having advice and help from Attorney and friend, James Blair, who traded through former Tyson foods executive and fellow commodities trader Robert Bone of Refco she swore she didn’t receive preferential treatment, yet navigated a volatile commodities market like the most seasoned pro.
Personnel Experience– In the early time in the Clinton White House, Hillary with help from White House Council fired the entire White House Travel Department staff. They were replaced with Arkansas friends and relatives by Harry Thomason who was a friend, campaign donor and part owner of a travel consultant firm. The unusual fact of the firing is that the Travel Dept. was during multiple presidencies since the JFK administration, the best run operation of the White House and many of the employees who had been fired had been loyal and beloved workers to presidents and staff from both political parties.
Character References: Below is a list of personal friends and/or colleagues of the Clintons. Unfortunately we cannot rely on most of these listed because all but one are dead.
Vince Foster– best friend, partner at Rose Law Firm; died from apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound even though first responders and witness said there was no gun near the body. Later when a gun was mysteriously found, it was a colt .38 which would have blown off the back of Forester’s head, yet the exit wound was small and there was no spray pattern at the scene where Forester’s body had been laid out at Fort Marcy Park. This happened during the Whitewater investigation.
Ron Brown – was Bill Clinton’s Secretary of Commerce and former DNC Chairman who was reported to have died by impact in a plane crash. A pathologist close to the investigation reported that there was a hole in the top of Brown’s skull resembling a gunshot wound. At the time of his death Brown was being investigated, and spoke publicly of his willingness to cut a deal with prosecutors. All others on board died as well.
Barbara Wise –was a Commerce Department staffer who worked closely with Ron Brown and John Huang. Cause of death was unknown yet her bruised body was found locked in her office at the Department of Commerce.
Charles Meissner –was Assistant Secretary of Commerce who gave John Huang special security clearance, died shortly thereafter in a small plane crash.
Ed Willey – a Clinton fund raiser, was found dead in the woods in Virginia of a gunshot wound to the head which was also ruled a suicide. He was the husband of Kathleen Willey who had reportedly had an affair with Bill.
James Wilson – Having ties to Whitewater, he was found dead in May 1993 from an apparent hanging suicide.
Kathy Ferguson– Ex-wife of Arkansas Trooper Danny Ferguson, was found dead in May 1994, in her living room with a gunshot to her head. It was ruled a suicide. Danny her ex was a co-defendant along with Bill Clinton in the Paula Jones lawsuit. Kathy Ferguson was a possible corroborating witness for Paula Jones.
Bill Shelton – Arkansas State Trooper and fiancee of Kathy Ferguson. He was outspoken and denied the suicide ruling and was found dead of a gunshot wound which was also ruled a suicide.
Suzanne Coleman – Reportedly had an affair with Clinton when he was Arkansas Attorney General, died of a gunshot wound to the back of the head, yet another death ruled a suicide.
Florence Martin – Accountant & sub-contractor for the CIA, was related to the Barry Seal Mena Airport drug smuggling case. He died of three gunshot wounds.
Danny Casolaro – Investigative reporter who was investigating Mena Airport and Arkansas Development Finance Authority. He slit his wrists, apparently, in the middle of his investigation.
Paul Wilcher – Attorney investigating corruption at Mena Airport with Danny Casolaro was found dead June 22, 1993 in his Washington DC apartment.
Barry Seal -Drug running pilot out of Mena Arkansas, murdered.
Kevin Ives & Don Henry – Known as “The boys on the track” case. Reports say the boys may have stumbled upon the Mena Arkansas airport drug operation. A controversial case, the initial report of death said, due to falling asleep on railroad tracks. Later reports claim the 2 boys had been slain before being placed on the tracks. Many linked to the case died before their testimony could come before a Grand Jury
Stanley Huggins – Investigated Madison Guaranty. His death was a purported suicide and his report was never released.
James McDougal – Clinton’s convicted Whitewater partner died of an apparent heart attack, while in solitary confinement. He was a key witness in Ken Starr’s investigation.
Christopher Stevens– Friend of Hillary’s, US Ambassador to Libya died after being tortured, reportedly raped and murdered by Islamic terrorists who attacked the compound in Benghazi, where 3 other Americans died; Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, the latter two fending off hundreds of terrorists while calling repeatedly for help which never came.
In the words of Hillary, what difference does it make? All these people are dead, so we cannot have them speak on her behalf. Only one remains who perhaps knows Hilary more than any other, but my instinct tells me that Hilary’s closest friend, and personal assistant with Muslim brotherhood connections, Huma Abadin will never talk.
