The Official Rejection of the Declaration of Independence & The Constitution

The United States Declaration of Independence begins: When, in the course of human Events, it becomes necessary for one People to dissolve the Political Bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the Powers of the Earth, the separate and equal Station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent Respect to the Opinions of Mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the Separation.
Perhaps, based upon the opening of the Declaration of Independence, could it be possible that the time has come once again for a moral people to separate themselves from the godless laws that are perverting the land?
Again, the Declaration of Independence begins: When, in the course of human Events, it becomes necessary for one People to dissolve the Political Bands which have connected them with another…
What course of human events compels the division among us from the unity which has historically linked Americans as one People? Perhaps this passage from the Declaration of Independence may shed some light:
…and to assume among the Powers of the Earth, the separate and equal Station to which the Laws of Nature…
The founding Fathers understood that there were certain natural laws or as they put it, Laws of Nature, that were self-apparent and it was based upon the establishment of these Laws of Nature, that the entire legitimacy of their secession from England was based. In other words, if something goes against nature’s law, it is not a valid reason for those who would be subjugated to submit to or tolerate.
Wikipedia defines natural law as follows: Natural law, or the law of nature (Latin: lex naturalis), is a system of law that is purportedly determined by nature, and thus universal. Classically, natural law refers to the use of reason to analyze human nature—both social and personal—and deduce binding rules of moral behavior from it.
Therefore, our Constitution and our government stand upon the clear understanding that some things are natural laws given by … nature’s God, meaning nature’s laws come from nature’s God who designed a normality and properly functioning system in nature as opposed to those nonfunctioning systems which pervert the natural order of nature’s law which we recognize as being unnatural (i.e., perverted).
Our Founding Fathers understood the natural order of things and credited nature’s law to a Law Giver. If we deviate from the natural order and natural law, then we denounce the natural order of things in preference of unnatural or a perversion of that entity upon which our government and laws were built. By weakening that foundation and rejecting the natural order of things in favor of unnatural preferences, we doom our society, laws, government, social institutions and the reason for our existence.
Be aware America—we have crossed that path and there is no one who can defend our reluctance to continue down a path of sanity, preferring instead to travel the path of perversion to our assured demise.
Regarding all earthly systems, be it forces of nature or forces of government, we are now …to assume among the Powers of the Earth, the separate and equal Station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them. To reject natural order and the Laws of Nature upon which our society is built, it is now shaken to its foundations, and the mortar of natural law and nature’s God is quickly being eroded, thus preventing that solid base upon which no nation can flourish without.
It would behoove us to remember that the last part of our Declarations of Independence’s admonishment that justifies the breakdown, or a decent Respect to the Opinions of Mankind(,) requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the Separation (,) and that cause is brought on by the rejection of the natural order as laid out in our Constitution, but even more important, it is the profound rejection of the authority who created that natural law!
Consider this path we have chosen and realize that today we can no longer justify our independence from England based upon the Declaration of Independence and its precepts. We cannot blame anyone else for our tragedies, because it is us who have rendered the very principals upon which it exists as null and void.
It happened so subtly that few people noticed at first. Little by little, morality and freedom started to crumble. It came first in government, in education, in the media—and finally it began to shake our families and our lives…
Law and government have become the means of licensing moral perversions of all kinds. Education has become the enemy of religious truth and values. And the media have provided the means for propagating the change.
“A Christian Manifesto” is literally a call for Christians to change the course of history—by returning to biblical Truth and by allowing Christ to be Lord in all of life… –Intro to A Christian Manifesto by influential Christian thinker and author, Francis A. Schaeffer, copyright 1981.
