Obama Administration – Race Baiters

sharpton-race-baiter-and-bikinisAmerica has come a long way since the turbulent days of the 60s when Martin Luther King was trying to bridge the divide between black and white.

Nowhere can this be more obvious than the 2008 presidential election when the very first African American candidate, Barack Obama, was voted into the highest office in the land.

Being born of a black father and a white mother, who better to keep the bridge in place that Martin Luther King died to build? This was the perfect opportunity for a truly great unifier in these United States.

Unfortunately for everyone, black, white, red, or yellow a different picture of the man who held so much possibility in the race debate began to emerge at a little thing called The Beer Summit.

In July of 2009, Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr., was arrested at his Cambridge, Massachusetts home by a local police officer responding to a 9-1-1 caller’s report of men breaking and entering the residence. This incident was a simple misunderstanding. The police officer came on scene and discovered Gates trying to get into his house because he had forgotten or misplaced his keys.

Gates is an African American man and the officer who arrested him is white. People began to call it a racial incident. The African American was being racially profiled and was arrested simply because of his skin color, said the naysayers.

President Obama, instead of staying out of the fray, immediately made a statement indicating that the police had acted irresponsibly in the situation.

His foolish remark and subsequent decision to get in the middle of a virtual nonissue by hosting the jolly Beer Summit, wherein he invited the professor and the police officer to have a drink in the garden of the White House to show the world that he was indeed building bridges, backfired.

By inserting himself into the situation he brought attention to something that needed none. By saying nothing it possibly still would have garnered attention, but certainly not the media frenzy that ensued because of his presence in the fracas. The Beer Summit brought unwarranted attention and highlighted the race debate. It highlighted and gave credence to the old adage, “Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.” People not paying attention or the regular Kool-Aid drinkers saw this and were immediately led to believe that it was an arrest made on race and it was a big deal because Obama was getting involved.

Of course, ignoring racism does not make it go away. There are still people in the United States and around the world who are racist. We may never be able to completely erase racism, but the US has certainly come a very long way.

Apparently the thought never occurred to President Obama that a man who appeared to be breaking into a home was arrested because he appeared to be a burglar. It certainly never occurred to people who like to propagate the “white privilege” argument, wherein every white person is privileged and knows nothing of hardship and is inherently treated better than any person of color. Wherein every white person has it easy and everything you see, hear or do, everything ever invented, created or made is for the white person. Oddly enough, I’ve never heard an African American talk about this “white privilege.” No, it’s the severely misguided attempts by guilty white folks who want to keep the race issue alive and now want to see it turned on the white population as pay back for any ill treatment of a different race at any other time in the history of the world.

An interesting thing I learned recently. Many white people believe that Agenda 21, the UN’s plan for one world government and control over every world citizen, is in place to protect African American’s from being overrun by white people and the governments that are currently in power. Hence, if you are against Agenda 21, you are racist.

Moving on though, it really should come as no surprise that Obama’s Department of Justice has been found to have spent thousands of taxpayer dollars to provide assistance for anti-Zimmerman protests in 2012.

George Zimmerman, a Hispanic-American, was alleged to have shot to death an African American teenager in his Florida neighborhood in self-defense in 2012.

Zimmerman is unfortunate in that he has light skin. That light skin has turned this into a racially charged case. Because of his light skin, the media and white privilege mongers like to portray this as a white man killing a perfectly innocent young African American man.

The Obama DOJ, according to the Examiner, sent people from a division of the DOJ called Community Relations Service to facilitate anti Zimmerman protests.

In documents received by Judicial Watch through the Freedom of Information Act it is shown that taxpayer money was spent on sending “peace keepers” to Florida for the Zimmerman trial. According to Judicial Watch, “Though CRS purports to spot and quell racial tensions nationwide before they arise, the documents obtained by Judicial Watch show the group actively worked to foment unrest, spending thousands of taxpayer dollars on travel and hotel rooms to train protestors throughout Florida. “

I’m almost speechless. Which is a very rare condition for me, so that is quite concerning. Why would the federal government be actively supporting, actively stirring up racial tension?

The simplest explanation is usually the right one. While the country is watching the circus happening in Florida we are not paying attention to what they are doing in DC.

What would give me pause on that statement is that there are so many other issues that can divide us. There are so many other issues that are used manipulatively so that we are watching the right hand and not noticing the sleight of hand over on the left.

We talk about immigration reform and forget about Benghazi. We talk about climate change and forget about the NSA. We talk about Obamacare and don’t discuss the IRS targeting of conservative organizations.

Why would the administration go with the race game? I can only imagine it is to divide us in every way possible. Democrats will be against Republicans, pro-life against pro-choice, conservative against liberal, right against left, red against blue, African American against white.

The only thing I see here is human being against human being. It’s truly disgusting. Americans need to stand up, call bull and unite. If our president can’t be the unifier, than we must. African American or white, brother, sister, friend, neighbor, democrat, republican, let’s stand as one, leave this rhetoric about race and other red herrings behind and hold the government accountable for its misdeeds, including the manipulation of the American people through the media. One of the foremost of those misdeeds is keeping us against each other. A country divided cannot stand up and take control back from the government. This is just what they want.

The fact remains, even after the verdict came down, nobody will ever know exactly what happened on that fateful night Martin was killed. But we do know what has happened since and how this case was handled in the media and how it continues to affect public opinion.

I wrote the majority of this article before the verdict was read on Saturday. Now that we know Zimmerman was found Not Guilty by a jury of 6 of his peers it is, hopefully, time to move on. Rumors of the DOJ continuing this argument and charging Zimmerman with a civil lawsuit and threats against Zimmerman’s life abound. His life will never be the same. I posit that his life may have been safer if he was locked up in solitary.

What does that say about how well we have been manipulated into seeing this as a racial issue? And why does the DOJ have any right whatsoever to continue this with a civil lawsuit? I suggest the DOJ has other issues that are more pressing. Perhaps replacing Eric Holder would be a better way to spend their time.

People like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson who cry racism and stir the pot need to be held accountable for taking advantage of these situations and using them for their own purposes. I believe they want to help the African American community as much as I believe the Golden Gate resides in Arizona.

Where were Sharpton and Jackson when two teenagers shot a baby directly in the face? Where were they when an African American teen rescued a little white girl from her kidnapper?

It’s time to quit listening to race baiters, including the administration in the White House right now.
