Hail to the Social Engineer-in-Chief

obama-dancing1Liberals are ecstatic and swoon when they hear his words of experience.  On the other hand, conservatives believe his words are race-baiting and cause dissension.  Lawyers read between the lines and believe he feels the Department of Justice has no reason to continue down their current path, yet he won’t say it publicly.

How does one unannounced visit to a White House briefing bring about a variety of different reactions?  This is what our Social Engineer in Chief does so well:  distract citizens and redirect the debate.

We don’t really have a President in this country anymore.  We have a person who holds office only to mold and convert citizens to a way of thinking, which is an ideology and universal thought process that will supposedly unite a nation and bring about change for all.

Our country has certainly changed.

Societal issues are accepted differently than they were in past decades.  Parents used to send pregnant teens to their aunt’s house out of town when they became pregnant, to “hide the situation”.  Now we have television shows on cable glamorizing such circumstances.

Magazines, usually reserved for discussions of music and the world around it, have now traveled so deeply into other societal conversations they put photos of bombers on the cover.  They are sending the message to teens and others, who may struggle with violence issues, that they too can become famous and make the cover of a well-known magazine with a bomb and a backpack.

In response to such thoughtless acts, policemen risk their careers, for the sake of setting the record straight, to show the reality of terrorism and violence.  These are true heroes, yet they are becoming characterized as criminals.

Citizens are no longer in control.  Discussion topics and issues are now socially engineered by the mainstream media, lawyers and politicians.  Certainly, as Conservatives we still have our beliefs, which are perfectly acceptable if stored away in the confines of our homes and hearts.  Don’t reveal them, for fear of persecution and being labeled as a hater.

Social Engineers of the world are now in control and so are the messages dispersed throughout our country.

In a recent interview with Greta Van Susteren, Jasmine Rand, one of Trayvon Martin’s family attorney’s chose to call herself a “Social Engineer” , as a “greater duty” than that of a lawyer, during a conversation about the Zimmerman trial verdict.  So now, lawyers will no longer defend justice as being blind, but choose to use their position to bring about change instead of truth.

A Social Engineer simply stated is someone who “uses the manipulation of the social position and function of individuals in order to manage change in a society”.

The President has been doing this throughout his tenure in office.  Choosing to determine the topic which will be discussed and then controlling the conversation.  In doing this, Americans, especially those who choose to be spoon fed their news and information, only hear and see what the government wants for them to hear.

As tragic as some recent social events have been, to particular families and communities, these are not the issues on which we need to focus.

Issues such as major U.S. cities filing for bankruptcy, U.S. State Department officials still not having their deaths fully explained and their co-workers not being allowed to publicly share their experiences, government singling out particular groups of people, allegedly based on their beliefs, gas prices rising with no conversation of solutions and immigration issues which continue to plague our border states.  These are just some of the “top” conferences which need to be had in our country today.

Yet in managing the conversation, mainstream and liberal media outlets continue to leave impartiality out of their jobs, and now apologize for parts of society who aren’t rising up and supporting opposing views.  These media outlets don’t remember their high school civics class, which should have taught them that when a jury of your peers returns a verdict, whether you like it or not, that is the way the system works.

How many times has this same group of media moguls spent as much time defending someone who was innocent, yet was imprisoned?  How many marches did community activist organize across the country in those instances?  Think of the numerous murders and injustices which occur every day, yet if they aren’t tantalizing enough, if they don’t “stir the pot” or embitter particular groups to great civic division, they aren’t reported or supported.

How many times has the President stood before reporters in the White House briefing room and shared his life experiences in support of someone who was wrongly imprisoned or accused?  How many times has he inserted himself in “low end” criminal actions and identified himself as potentially having been a similar perpetrator or victim in such instances?

The issues being supported by the White House today have nothing to do with improving the state of our country.  They have everything to do with taking America’s focus off major issues which will ultimately bring our nation’s demise.

It’s what “Social Engineering” is all about–change the focus and you will change society.  It is an easy picture to draw.

Imagine a successful company.  This company has been successful for years.  Of course, throughout its existence, it has had good and bad times.  The governing board has disagreed, there have been a variety of different leaders, some of which sought the good of the company and others had only looked out for themselves and their supporters.  Overall though, they maintained their focus, worked out their differences and produced a high quality product which the world wanted to possess.

Recently, the company brought in a new leader.   A visionary, a man with new ideas, wanting to make improvements based on the company view.  In the first few years of the new leadership, past leaders were blamed for the “messes” which needed to be cleaned up and a new business philosophy was needed to be created for new markets the leadership was trying to reach.

Successes were few and far between, but the company decided to keep the same leadership for another term, hoping they would find their rhythm and bring about “positive” changes.

Today that company has not seen changes for the better of the whole.  What they are seeing is a leader who is so entrenched with his supporters, he can’t see clear enough to stand for the entire company.

A leader, who made so many deals with others, is now seeing parts of the company (ex. cities like Detroit) go bankrupt and die.  A leader, who continues to make bold statements to the community, with intentional ambiguity, so everyone believes he has their best interest in mind and will lead them to greatness.

What a sad story.  The destruction of something which was once great and respected, yet now is losing its appeal, as the city on the hill.

America is a country, run by a Social Engineer, instead of a President.  We have become like the story of the business which is being led by a person who uses words, as a magician uses illusions, to make others believe he is focusing on the important issues of the day.  When in fact, he is going to the past and dredging up old issues, to distract from the things needed to be focused on immediately.

There are some pieces of history which will never be resolved, the way some believe they should.  There are some ideas, which will never be successful in free societies.

It is time to stop engineering our society and begin dealing head on with the problems which are dragging our country down.

Tina believes politics and religion can, and should, be discussed together. She says she is a lifelong follower of Christ and believer in the true significance of God's power in each and everyone's life and she believes in the absolute need for God and Christ to be honored and included in the decisions made for our country. Tina continues to mentor students in this age group, along with her husband, multiple times each week. She believes that encouraging people, especially students, to see the need for a relationship with God and Jesus Christ in their everyday life, is an absolute need in her life. Tina volunteers weekly in her children's school, allowing her to witness how today's students are learning and developing in their social, educational, political and spiritual beliefs. Witnessing how students experience life, during the timeframe of Junior High through College, is immensely important to Tina. She believes this age group needs to be mentored, so they will have the tools with which to navigate today's societal pressures to live life without God, rather than with Him. Tina has also been a teacher to women in churches, teaching small groups, as well as speaking to large groups on a variety of spiritual topics. In addition to Spiritual Formation, Tina has been actively following and discussing the many facets of politics. Tina is a graduate of the University of Arizona, having earned a degree in Communication and a minor in Political Science. After college, she worked in the field of Advertising and Marketing, specializing in Media Buying and Planning, as well as directing entire Marketing and Sales departments. She has been a writer for PolitiChicks.com since 2012 and says she enjoys the opportunity to encourage Americans to live out their faith in Jesus Christ, while they stand firm on the principles set forth by our forefathers in their political beliefs.
