Sarah Palin, Former Vice Presidential candidate and Alaska Governor, will be rejoining Fox News as a regular contributor. She will make her return appearance on Monday, June 17th on Fox & Friends. She is also planned to be a commentator on the Fox Business Network.
Recently Palin has been busy speaking at a number of events, among them Republic High School’s graduation in Washington State and the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network’s Award Gala in Philadelphia, PA.
Breitbart contributor Kevin Scholla reported on Palin’s speech at the pro-life Terri Schiavo Gala, noting Palin’s statement, “that nothing was more ‘important than defending the right to life.’” Scholla concluded his article with Palin’s statements, “’One man’s pursuit of happiness must not take away another’s right to life,” Palin said. “There are the world’s standards of perfection and there are God’s standards — and that’s the one that matters.’”
In a Facebook post regarding the graduating class of Republic High School in Republic, WA, Palin said, “Was honored and inspired by the community of Republic, WA today. Todd and I travelled to this incredibly beautiful northwest community to honor the Class of 2013 as they received their diplomas and headed out into the real world. Republic is a special place – it might be small, but it is big on the values that built this great country. Republic exemplifies what makes America great – and it was an honor to thank them for it. To the Tigers of 2013 – thank you again for inviting me and inspiring me. Always remember your roots and never forget that kids from small schools can do big things. Our republic’s future is up to you!”
Palin has also recently spearheaded an effort to support a soldier who was ‘officially counseled’ for his choice of conservative reading materials including books by Mark Levin and Sean Hannity. Todd Starnes reported of the soldier’s experience on TownHall.com. Palin encouraged social media users on Facebook and Twitter to post pictures to “Show your support for liberty. Post a pic holding a liberty-loving book!” (Much of the dialogue is posted on Michele Malkin’s website Twitchy.) Sarah now has over 923,000 Twitter followers and well over 3.5 million Facebook “likes” on her public profile.
Never failing to stand up and care for the American people and always standing on principle, Sarah Palin brings us the refreshing perspective of conviction. With a deep history in pushing back against corruption and standing up for the oppressed and downtrodden, Sarah remains a much-needed voice in a sea of political establishment rhetoric. Thank you Sarah for not giving up. America needs you.
