The Social Media Battle is ON: #BenghaziTruthSeekers vs. #LeftistTruthHaters

Well folks, it was bound to happen. When rats are cornered in a sinking ship, they lash out and try to bite.
Soon after millions of concerned citizens began posting and Tweeting about the Benghazi hearings, the foot soldiers on the Left were given their usual standing orders to “protect and defend the Democrat Party at all cost”. As always, they were given specific talking points to try to distract, confuse and belittle anyone demanding answers. Like the obedient (and consistent) soldiers they are, they dredged up their old Alinsky Liberal Classics: #BlameBush , #RaceCard and #EverythingAnythingAntiGOP.
On my own Facebook and Twitter pages, every time I’ve posted about Benghazi I have had to battle the same old liberal accusations.
Since I’m officially bored with doing so, I thought I’d share with you two of my latest conversations and instead of writing my answers over and over on my social media pages, from now on I’m just going to paste a link to this article everywhere. Also because I’m a fair fighter, I won’t publish their names here. (However, if you read my Facebook page you can find these conversations in their entirety.)
FB Foot Soldier #1: It was a terrible incident, of people being in the wrong place at the wrong time. If you were walking across the street and someone goes thru a red light hits and kills you, do you find the maker of the traffic signal at fault for not doing more to protect you? There are bad people all over the world, if you choose to take up residence in an unstable hostile area, then you assume all the risks involved with your decision. You learn from the mistakes of the past and hope you can avoid them in the future. Tis whole Bengazzi (sic) thing is just a way for GOP to try and discredit the democratic party by trying to find ways to prove their incompetence (sic). Nobody makes all the right decisions all the time.
A-M: True, (FB Foot Soldier). The difference is that if the red light people knew there was a major glitch in their red lighting system, and had been warned ahead of time there could possibly be fatalities because of that, yet they ignored the warnings–that’s a clear indicator that the red light people could have done something and didn’t. And then, continuing in this scenario, if the red light people–instead of saying “Oops, we made a mistake” started saying, “It was the fault of GOP protesters standing beside the road where the red light is!” and continued blaming those protesters—and then were later discovered to have lied about not knowing why it happened–that is the difference.
You don’t know me, you don’t know who I am as a person/individual, but I will tell you that I’m not a “vindictive GOP type” who’s only trying to get rid of politicians. I’m not that shallow. For me–and many others like me–this is a clear case of right/wrong/accountability and even in 2013 that should still account for something.
By the way, FB Foot Soldier, according to testimony this week, the reason we had Americans in Benghazi is because of Hillary Clinton. She wanted to set up a permanent embassy there which is why they were begging and pleading for more security prior to 9/11. They didn’t understand why she not only denied their requests but also reduced the security they already had. If you didn’t see the hearings, I highly recommend you read my summation article. (“Benghazi “Whistleblowers” Confirm Lies, Deceit, Cover-ups”)
And here is a typical example of a highly trained Alinsky instigator:
Foot Soldier #2: OK, aside from character assassinations, what else can you say? Like the right has not screwed up? How about S.C. electing a known adulterer and thief (Sanford admitted using state funds to travel to Argentina) as their congressman. that does not make the world think we are stupid, backwoods, fools? That we talk about moral convictions and then send them out the window when it is politically expedient?
A-M: Please–are you trying to tell me that suddenly progressives are worried about anyone’s morals? Don’t get us started about the “morals” (or lack thereof) on your side. This is classic Alinsky–you couldn’t care less about morals but you know our side does, so you’re simply trying to stir up the hornet’s nest. Shoo.
Most interestingly, the same person who posted the Sanford comment on my wall posted the following on his own (HT Rino Rooter):
For even more verbal ammo against the inane verbiage being hurled at us, be sure to read the latest post from our Illinois PolitiChick Leslie Deinhammer, “Accusations of the Left via #Benghazi Twitter Feed”. Believe me– we’re going to need all the accurate information we can get to properly fight–and maybe by doing so, we can help others see the truth and light along the way.
